Dear TellTale, YOU ROCK!
TellTale, you're doing a fine job. Please keep up the good work.
And don't change anything about the game just because the playerbase demands it. You've done a wonderful job on your own. Listening to this crowd will only bring you down.
Sincerely, A true fan.

Except...no. Their entire business model is supposedly based on player feedback. Granted, they should stick to their artistic vision if they really believe in it, but they most certainly should listen to fan feedback so long as it doesn't compromise that.
I've never seen something good come from listening to whiney self-entitled people (aka, the most vocal people on this forum). I can't even stand to play a Blizzard game, anymore, because they keep giving in to the stupid ideas that the community thinks they want (and them complain about, later). I don't want TellTale to go down that road.
It's fine if they sneak in a silly little joke, like Alvin mentioning the Juice Box in Episode 2 (since it was such a popular meme after Episode 1). But now we have people outright demanding that we continue to play as Clem, or TellTale pick a cannon ending, etc etc. Major things that could ruin the series.
It doesn't matter if we play as Clem or not. It doesn't matter if 100% of our choices shape every aspect of the game or not. Sometimes, thinking that you are making a super important choice when you're not is fun in itself. Just like making a seemingly minor choice can result in a major change in how the characters treat you. We don't NEED the things that some people here are saying we need. I'm just reminding TellTale of that, because I know that they DO listen to player feedback. And what I see right now is a whole lot of negativity. It's not good to let that build up, so I'm telling TellTale that I am pleased, I am impressed, and I want more of what THEY are serving.
They obviously aren't going to let the fandom influence their choice of protagonist or what story they tell. That's the kind of decision that only the story-teller should make. But it is very important that they listen some of the things other things that the fans say. Like "You need to give me some times to talk to characters one-on-one and ask them stuff if you want me to care about them"and "If you keep killing off the whole cast every season in increasingly pointless ways, eventually we're just going to stop caring." Listening to this kind of feedback is crucial in improving the experience of Season 3.
Amen to that. A million times.
This is very true, inasmuch as characters begin to develop a predictable lifespan. That lessens the impact of random and pointless deaths of well-developed characters that, on the other hand, have always been part of any Walking Dead story and Telltale would be remiss not to keep including to some degree. That's a part of what makes the setting great.
I disagree. The allure of this game is you don't know who is going to die, or when. Sometimes, our actions can delay it. Sometimes we dislike the characters and let them die even when we can prevent/delay it. Sometimes, we try to assist them, and it turns out to quicken their demise.
If most of the cast made it to the end, I would be saying "Well that was... not very thrilling." But instead, I'm saying "Omg, I am SO happy Kenny made it! I can't believe out of everyone, he's the only one!"
Even in Season 1, where people say "everyone died", turns out Christa and Omid made it. Kenny made it. Lilly could have made it for all we know. Only ones who died were Larry, who I assisted in killing (which was a very thrilling moment for me), Carley, who was so unexpected it made the moment, again, thrilling. Katjaa/Duck, who made a very emotional scene, and Chuck who... well I liked him, but that was silly. But they can't all be winners!
The point is, as long as character deaths make the situation exciting or emotional, it's worth it. If nobody died, then the game should just be called... Walking. I wouldn't play Walking. I want to play the game that gives me feels, even if they aren't crying-feels. I like adrenaline-feels, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"-feels, and "You fucking deserved it!"-feels, too!
