How Could Nate Have Fit into This Season?
Without changing any extremely major plot points, how would Nate have been able to fit into the story of Season 2.

Maybe one of the people that attacked Christa in Ep1?
Or maybe someone at Carver's camp, who was like one of his head in commands, or someone who tried to escape with you?
Instead of using Russians as the villain in Ep. 3/4, they could have done something where the group confronts Nate, Eddie and all the 400 days characters who didn't go with Tavia. It doesn't have to have been the shootout it was. Although I don't know if anyone would actually follow Nate though. But yeah, they could have added him in at the end of Ep. 4.
Personally I think there should have been a scene in Episode 4 where somehow Clementine ends up walking through the snow alone. She hears a truck behind her and it is revealed to be Nate. He acts extremely friendly and seems like a good guy just trying to help out, that is until he is revealed to be a second in command to Carver and leads the remaining survivors of Howes to their location where they have a big battle while Rebecca is giving birth.
I can see him just cruising through, coming across the group and just going "what's up losers, hey Bonnie you're kinda hot, I'd say about a 7 on a scale from 1 to 10, only 'cause i ain't too hot for gingers if you know what I mean. Jane, you'd be a strong 9 if you didn't look like a boy with that haircut, but nice rack! What are you a C cup?"XD I think he might steal from the group, but other than that I don't think he'd cause too many problems unless he felt like it, or if we did something to provoke him.
One of the dead bodies at the stream, like Roman. Anything else where he plays some kind of role in the story automatically changes a big plot point somewhere, so they don't count going by that criteria. So unless he showed up dead or for like ten seconds like the other 400 Days characters and then fucked off to parts unknown, I don't see how he would have really had a role without disrupting something in the story we already have.
Actually, I suppose he could have taken Troy's place as Carver's number one guy (given how expendable a character Troy ended up being), and oh, how I would have enjoyed seeing him get his beak blown off and eaten alive. When you think about it, it's pretty much the perfect death for the bastard since according to him, the hunger a man's got for a woman is all men have left. If that's the extent of his ambition, then I can think of no better fate than to lose the instrument of that hunger through a woman's deception just in time to get eaten.
NATE AS TROY FOR REMAKE OF SEASON 2
Robbing Christa and Clem in the beginning then die because gunshot.
