How Would You Want In A New Story For Season 3?
Say telltale was gonna do a whole new story for season 3, and then have this never one, and Clementine's story join in Season 4.
Who would you want as the PC character?
And where would you like the new story to begin?
I'd like it to begin in Fort Lauderdale Florida.
And I'd like for the PC to be Kenny's younger brother, who I'll call Dave.
And why he was never mentioned, is cause the two had a falling out yrs before the apocalypse, which would be covered in a flashback.
Despite whatever the player has Dave say in the flashback, they still part ways.
As Dave, you are first found on your own.
You have the option of looking on a map, and can choose 3 destinations, of which to head for, a decision that will affect the game.
In one location, you'll encounter an elderly couple.
The 2nd, you encounter a 30ish year old woman and her 10 year old daughter.
And the 3rd, you encounter a young boy, about 10 years old.
Regardless of your decision, Dave decides to stay with whomever he encounters.
And his relationship with any of these characters, is greatly influenced by his actions.
Dave is around his late 30's.
And was a engineer before the apocalypse.
Along the way, you run across an abandoned baby.
Members of a pre-apocalypse biker gang.
And a priest.
How you respond to each of these characters/groups and situations, is entirely up to you.
And will greatly affect Season 4.

Wow you put a lot of thought into yours lol.
If it was gonna be a new PC, then I would want it to be from the very beginning in a major city. Like New York City, or Chicago. Maybe not the whole season takes place in there, but the first episode would be like escaping the city (similar to the TV show). As far the PC goes, I think it would be interesting playing as a Nick or Ben like figure (teenage - late 20's). I say this because as Clementine, people automatically trusted her which was weird since she was only 11. It would be really cool to play as a unreliable PC as his or her's nature and you have to evolve into the hardened warrior yourself.
That's a good theory. However it would probably make a bunch of people go back to Episode 5 Season 2 and stay with Kenny.

Honestly, I would be perfectly fine with no Clementine in Season 3, if they just brought this new guy all the way up to Wellington and then had his group and Clem's group join together for Season 4
Clem's story isn't properly over and it would be infuriating if they just let it trail off, but think I could accept putting it on hold for a season. My choice would be not to have some kind of insane deux es machina, though. We can only have so many unbelievable coincidences regarding the continuing storylines of old characters before it gets silly, no matter how much love people have for Kenny or Lee or anybody else.
i'd like to answer Russel. I really liked the kid, and want to find out what happened with him, but with his attitude towards large groups and the fact that the narrative has moved to such a long way away from where he was last known to be, its kind of the same thing. Running back into him would be just as big a stretch. I mean, it's not like he would make Wellington a destination.
Christa is the only viable option I see for an existing character to try to work her way back in without being kind of forced. She could be reasonably believed to be trying to track down Clementine. Barring that, I think we need a whole new survivor with no previous ties..
