So some of you may call me "Captain Obvious" but wanted to share the piece of insight my sister shared with me:
"Everyone thinks the zombies are the walking dead, but it's the survivors in reality. Because all the do is just that-survive the next onslaught before they die. They aren't happy they're alive, they are just surviving on borrowed time. They can't enjoy the food they eat or anything."

    To be honest the TV show seems to have gone in a bit of a different direction. In the comics there's no Terminus or Daryl Dixon, though a few similarities remain.

    No shit. I don't think that's clever at all - it's why Kenny was revived and retreaded. Telltale thought it was "clever" that he remain miserable after surviving certain death.
