How do you think Carver's camp was at the end of 400 days?

My last thoughts about this. I'm wondering if that bitch Tavia was just pretending to be welcoming and that Carver's group wasn't so bad at that time. Was it around that time exactly that shit hit the fan?

  • Bonnie said Carver "wasn't always like this", which I think indicates that he was still a good guy at the time 400 Days concluded, since she'd have met him only then. That could explain Tavia's demeanor being more friendly in 400 Days, and then colder in episode 3 after Carver's already had more of an iron grip on the community's balls for a while.

I might be more suspicious of Tavia faking sincerity if it wasn't for the fact that most of the 400 Days characters seemed strangely different in episode 3 except for Shel and Becca, not just her. And Bonnie didn't even bring her old friends along during the escape plan. Time flies and attitudes change when you're living under a crazy guy, I assume.

  • I think that Carver was still relatively good, maybe Tavia saw in him some kind of model figure, so she was going to follow him no matter what
