Walking dead question

I searched this site and am surprised that no one else asked this question. I had an Xbox 360 that I was playing the game on but stopped once I bought a Xbox one, my question is since Xbox one runs on a whole entire system than the 360, will my progress I made on the game transfer over once the game is released on the 14 or will I have to buy the game again

    you can't transfer i think that is one of the reasons both season 1 and 2 are being ported to xbox one and ps4 so with season 3 they can ditch 360/ps3 the other reason being more money

    No unfortunately your progress will not continue on. However, they are releasing both season one and two on the new gen this month so you can repurchase both seasons and replay them.

    Thanks for answering my question guys lol. I'm a little annoyed if I have to repurchase season one an episode 1&2 or season 2 since I have already bought them from the Xbox market and am still using the same gamertag. I wonder if they will lower the price rather than making people rebuy the game for the same price.
