I hope it! Maybe a DLC, where the Cabin Group escapes from Carver or maybe a hint for Season 3.
I'd like to see Telltale introduce a new character, either a protagonist or a villain, who will play a major role in Season 3.
Why stop at a single character? I think they should introduce a group of interesting characters that will play a role in Season 3, each through a short but effective story.
