We should abandon AJ, ABSOLUTELY!

edited October 2014 in The Walking Dead

We should abandon AJ. He's a heavy burden. He can get us killed if he start to cry in the middle of a herd. He can't help us while costs lots of energy & food. We should take our survival in the first place. Why should we take risk for a baby who is so easy to die?

Our ancestors are stupid. Why did they raise babies? They can cry at all time, attracting dangerous animals, getting they all killed. Gving birth to them also takes such high risks. Not to metion how much it takes to raise them. Mothers in lactation period need lots of food. Kids growing up need lots of care. Why didn't they use the time and food for a easier life? Such a shame that we get such foolish ancestors.

Other kinds of animal... Jesus, of course they can't be so wise as we human beings. Bees and Ants work hard all their lifetime and are ready to sacrifice their lives, for what? Protecting the Queen Bee & Queen Ant, who can do nothing, protecting themselves included, except breeding? Fuck the Queens, the workers can search for food themselves! Whales protect the young and the old, for what? They alone can live a happy life with the huge body. Perhaps their brain is not so well developed as their body. Some kinds of vegetarians have the healthy adults fighting together towards the carnivores. Ridiculous! Anyhow the weakest ones will get eaten, so why risk their lives to protect them? Why not just dump the weak ones and use them for bait, so that the strong ones can just run away?

The young, weak, injuried, old ones are just heavy burdens. The best thing they can do is being used as the bait, so that others' time can be saved. We are wise, well-developed human beings who make the word "humanity". We are not our stupid ancestors or some dumb wild animal. We get it!

As I said, it's getting harder to tell these days... Some people on the internet can be right nutjobs. Saw this girl saying the moon was a hollagram, a hoax, once. She was serious.

  • There are people on this forum who seriously would do it.. they know who i mean, not so hard

  • Guys, he's kidding.

AJ is secretly the cause of the apocalypse. Of course we should leave him!

  • That's the reason I made this thread. I feel angry as hell seeing these discussions. Countless wild animals won't hesitate for a blink to sacrifice their lives for the safety of others, while we human beings still need to discuss whether we should abandon a baby. Humanity is such a piece of lovely shit painted gold!

  • Bees and ants forage to feed the colony, which is made of up of all of their sisters and daughters. They don't give two shits about ants that aren't related to them and in some cases will outright cannibalize outsiders. Hell, they'll sometimes cannibalize their own young. From Encyclopedia Britannica: "In certain ants, injured immatures are regularly consumed. When food is lacking, the colony turns to the remaining healthy immatures. This practice allows the adults to survive the food shortage and live to breed again."

  • Good info. We should all keep this in mind if an ant or bee is the protagonist of Season 3.

  • If it's in a colony, it'd have a better chance at survival then Clem would trying to go it alone with that baby.

  • Especially as there are no zombie bees or ants yet. The down side though is they don't live as long. So you know, swings and roundabouts...

  • Oh, missed that first one. Euw again. Right, I'm abandoning the whole idea of safety with the bees and ants. I'm back surviving with the humans. Or small dogs.

  • the difference is, these are insects running on basic instincts and a million years of evolution which makes them do what they do. Human's are far more advanced with much larger brains that allow us to think and act based on our choices and not pure instinct alone. Ant's and Bee's do not get the choice of how to behave like human's do so even though the fact's may be accurate, the comparison isnt!

  • That actually depends. The statement is not always true howevery i do agree with you.

  • Lee4life does that sometimes XD

  • Oh, you should! That thread brings the creeps out of the woodwork...

  • yes animals know how to survive, just like the wildabeast's that try to cross croc infested rivers. sure most survive but many do not. Humans are smart enough to take a boat or build a bridge.

I realize trying to make a point that even animals have learned or evolved to survive but it's based on instinct and not thought!

  • Even if this is sarcasm, it's insulting to those with that opinion. I find this thread kind of pointless. Please don't judge people and do stuff like this just because you disagree with them. I'm not one of those people, but this is one of the reasons why someone had left the forums. Please be more respectful and think before you post.

  • I've watched fair share of nature documentary in my life and there have been plenty of situations where mothers have been forced to leave their cubs behind, because they were too weak and couldnt keep up with the pack. You can see how they dont want to do it, but if they stay with the cub and abandon the pack, they will die also.

Is it more wrong to leave a baby behind to die from natural causes, than cause others to die for a baby, which will most likely die also?
