Are we starting to see comic rick in the tv show?
so if you saw the premiere episode of twd season 5 you might have noticed that rick is really fine with just killing people which is understandable since it is either kill or be killed in that situation but what made me think this is that we are seeing him turn into his comic counterpart is when they escape rick wants to go back and kill everyone who is alive which imo isn't something i would see the rick from the tv show doing i see comic rick doing that
now that i think about it the change was sort of noticeable in the second half of season 4 but then again in the situations he was put in there it was kill or be killed so idk what do you guys think?

I would have been right along side rick. Fuck those people. I agree with his "They don't get to live" line 900%.
Leaving them alive might be a death sentence for other good people in the world and nobody else is in a position to remedy that.
Hmmm, Yea all of Ricks actions were justified, those people were monsters... worse than the St Johns.. Slitting throats.. cutting people up... he mowed down all those Termites (another word for terminus people) almost Governor style except this time the Termites were the Crazy ones and Rick was the sane one.
BUT...
Going back to kill every one of them was plain stupid in my opinion, He could of caused further harm to the group and got more of them killed by walkers or any other termites still alive. Its a bad example to his son tbh and something my Lee wouldn't of done. Good thing it took Rick seeing that Judith was still alive to knock some sense into him and to change his mind to just move on. Every other member of the group didn't agree with Rick on going back..
"We've got to let those people out of there. That's still who we are! It has to be."
^Not going back and cleaning up "may" be leading to others being inside of those boxes.
I respect the group's decision to move along, but I would have been right alongside Rick. Those people "needed" to die because of what they do to others, imo.
But, you can't force people to take risks, even if it means (potentially) saving others, and refusing to take risks like that isn't immoral.
Basically I think that either choice is reasonable. I get not wanting to risk everything, especially when the situation "might" have taken care of itself already, but I would have wanted to make sure.
They did say they were going to base it off the comic more now.
I just don't see a point in going back to exterminate more people, Yes they deserve it.. yea they are dangerous.. But if you just made it out of there going back there is a massive NO, just be thankful you made it out and get the hell away from there. By going back and risking loved ones just for revenge is not a very smart plan.
If this is so I might start watching the show!
Yes thankfully, Im still grating from season 2, 3 and 4 rick but thankfully he seems to have his head straight at last.
