I just realized something...

  • Walter's speech also encapsulates an ideal perspective of Season 2:

They say the world is over, but I'll tell you a secret: it's not. People are more political now than they ever were before. In the end, we can't change the world. All we can do is continue to learn from each other; to empathize and use our heads[...]In any case, the point is: as long as we have our wits about us, we can always make the right choice. Right?

  • No,

She was. In episode 3 she didn't even have the self preservation instinct of keeping quiet even though:

    • Clem told her to not say anything
    • Carver gave Sarah an obvious look of displeasure that even Clem spotted

I'd understand if Sarah was fragile if she was round about Clem's age, but she was 14.

Carlos could have taught Sarah survival skills but didn't. He sheltered her too much. Yes She was past the possibility

  • Are you serious? You expect a tennager that doesn´t know how hard the world is now, not how cruel people can be, to listen to reason the first time somebody tries?

  • Yes I am serious. Sarah knew Carver. They obviously were at Carver's camp for a while. If she did have the self preservation instinct most people have, she would have known to stay quiet. She is completely unaware of what is going on around her.

  • Yes, Sarah knew Carver. Did she know how Carver was really like? No, no until the attack on the moonstar loodge. But even so, she doesn´t understand how hard the world is, like I said, and how people are.

Sarah: I don´t get why people have to so mean. Even when I am really mad, I don´t want to hurt anybody.

You can´t expect a sheltered person to face reality just like that. People have to be taugth to dealt with things like that, and Sarah was not taugth.
