I was scrolling around my news feed, and I came across this ridiculous post someone made about the current episode.

So I watch The Walking Dead for the Racism. Sunday's episode features a black male and black female caring for each other and being publicly affectionate. They continued showing this black couple through out the show. I knew one or both of them was going to die. And then sure enough, the show ends with the black male being captured and symbolically castrated - Whites cut off his leg. They didn't just mutilate the black male. Whites kept him alive and ate his leg in front of him while he was conscious. I've never seen anything like that in my life - much less on network television. This show just obliterated all kinds of viewing records with it's return to the air last week - it's way more popular than Scandal. It's very obvious why Racists enjoy and promote this sort of content.
Here goes my reply:
Lol the original poster obviously has no understanding of the zombie apocalypse, and would rather search for racist clues that can't be found in the show. Bob and Sasha are in love that's why it kept showing them together, and in the ZA people form new relationships. Now the people who captured bob are Gareth and his group of cannibalistic hunters from Terminus. They were tracking Rick's group down for killing their people and wanted revenge. It's a zombie Apocalypse which means anyone can die and change their normal ways. In order to be racist one would need to think they're superior to others. The hunters never showed that. They just go by their new way of life which is eating people they capture. The hunters could care less if the people they capture are black or white. Either way they're going to try killing them all. And Bob and Sasha were foreshadowing his death, so nothing racist.
Now if you want racism in The Walking Dead watch season 1 episode 2 where Daryl's brother called T-Dog a N. Him calling T-Dog a N is a form of racism because, he obviously thought whites were superior to blacks. Also if you read the comics Bob's character is supposed to be the comics Dale where the hunters cut his leg off and eat it in front of him, then he tells them tainted meat. The producers are going by the comics now. Dale died in season 3 of the show so they had to have bob replace him. So yea good luck trying to find racism in The Walking Dead when there was only one episode with Daryl's racist deceased brother and T-Dog. So yea sir your post is politically wrong. Read the comics, or go to AMC/thewalkingdead for more facts about the story before coming to conclusion.
The show got high rating because it goes by the comics, good actors, drama, action, and suspense. One more thing. Well if you're so concerned about so called racism in the show then why didn't you mention the scene where Tyrese killed that white guy in the premier by punching him out? that's black on white violence right there. the truth is neither of the current episodes had racism. it's a kill or be killed world in the zombie apocalypse. Nobody is going to care if you're black or white. Have a great day sir

that person was ridiculous lol. who dedicates their time to look for racism in zombie apocalypse shows XD? The OP def reminds me of Mike when he kept worrying about the color of the confederate jacket in the museum in 204.
