Are PS3 saves transferrable to PS4

As the saves are saved via Ps+ Does that mean i can get season 2 on Ps4 and have the choices i made in season one carry over to the Ps4 and series 2.

    If they aren't transferable (which they said they'd try to do) what happens if I jump straight in on Season 2? Do you just pick the choices you made in S1 and 400 days? I don't mind playing S1 again but if I can save myself 25 quid and go straight onto S2 that would be nice.

    if there's no save file found for s1 or 400 days it will randomise the choices in them only

    Huh, that's a bit odd. Surprised TT haven't said anything about what next gen players should do if they have already played S1 on previous gen.

    Yeah, I have finished S1, 400 Days and S2 on PS3. I am planning tonight to start a jaunt in S1 on PS4. I will play without thinking even if I've already done a lot of this before. I don't want to preempt any decisions, will just play by my gut instinct.

    I'm sad it won't transfer, but oh well. :)

    Real shame, i wont be getting a Ps4 until next year so looks like i shall have to play season one again on PS4 so that i can carry over choices to season 2.
