Filling the gaps with DLCs
Hi everyone,
I just finished Season 2 and enjoyed it quite a lot. I love the series and I can't wait to see what comes next.
However, as I'm sure some of you would agree, Season 2 leaves much to be desired. I was disappointed to see that they left out some important parts (at least for me) of the story, like that of Clem immediately after Season 1's ending or what happens after Omid dies.
Do you think it would be cool if Telltale filled these gaps with DLCs?
Personally I'd love to experience the story immediately after Season 1's ending.
As you know, at the end of Season 1 Clem has just witnessed the fate of her parents and right after that the one of Lee. She has lost everything; she is devastated and alone. She escapes the city and when she stops to rest she sees two silhouettes in the horizon. Are they friendly, is she safe? Dum dum duuuum...
After a few months of speculation and painful suspense we find out they are actually Omid and Christa, thank god for that. Now what? We are dropped into the story a few months later with no explanation. Why not?
I would love to see how that meeting went. I want to see her "let it all out" and then get better. I need to see someone comfort that girl and make her feel better. (Wouldn't it be cool if you could play as Omid and do that yourself?)
This would also be a great opportunity to tell us more about Omid and Christa. I feel like I barely knew them, so Omid dying didn't have a huge impact on me.
Would you like to see Clem's story between Season 1's ending and the beginning of Season 2? Or do you think they left it out for a reason? Perhaps because it would be too boring or confusing for new players? I'd love to hear what you guys think on the matter.

I want to actually see Clementine's transition from scared little girl to confident zombie killer, so yeah, I certainly would like a DLC just like this. Seeing her relationship with Christa would also be interesting... I want to know why she doesn't seem to care too much about her.
I got the feeling that when we cut to months later and the baby is gone, Christa is pretty much a broken human being. I'm not sure how present she was over that time and I suspect Clem had to become that zombie killer because Christa was no Lee. Losing the baby was likely something she never recovered from.
On top of that it also seems like Christa blames Clem for Omid, seeing as how her eyes linger on the gun. Since they never mention the baby again I assume Clem is too traumatized and just doesn't want to talk about it. It's still strange how it NEVER comes up that she was taking care of a pregnant woman for some time. Seems relevant in a group where you have a pregnant woman.
I'd still like a DLC where you play as Tavia and witness Rebecca's initial escape from Carver's community. Mainly because it'd be an excuse to see Carver during the time where he's presumably less of a sociopathic monster.
But it's more likely that if we get any DLC next year, it'll be another lead-up for Season 3. Hopefully they learned their lesson from 400 Days and will actually tie its consequences into Season 3 more effectively.
