It's the same thing if...

Hi.

I explain my doubt: my friend played for the first time Season 1 with cracked version, because he didn't know how the game was like. He finished it, and he decided to buy Season 1 and Season 2. Is the same thing if he import savegame from cracked version? Because unfortunately his first playthrough was played on the cracked version, and he don't want to redo all Season 1.

    I have the season 1 downloaded free and bought season 2, the savefile from season 1 does import. It doesnt have to be retail it looks like.

    Oh no, Steam import them without problems...

    He's scary if there will be problems in the future, (idk, errors, random choices etc...)

    I had the same thing too, and no problems for me.

    Seems kinda dumb to crack a game that costs 30 bucks on steam, I mean if you wish to infect your PC with tons of virus/malware/rootkits, whateva then be my guest.

    I would assume the save would be fine.

    Yeah, i know... Me and my friend were stupid to crack games xD

    In fact, now i only buy on steam, and it's much better!

    Unfortunately i have my first playthrough on the cracked version, and like you know, the first playthrough is unique. So, when i brought both seasons, i had to import my savegame from cracked version.

    You don't always get malware etc. but it is a risk that some people are willing to take.

    I must admit I have cracked games before, but i'll probably never do it again as I love the way the steam system works with friends, achievements etc.
