With a heavy heart, I finished Season 2

Episodes 4 and 5 of Season 2 I have played.

I spoiled myself on the final choice of the game: Kenny or Jane, which caused me to have a knot in my stomach. Both were characters I've come to like, among others of the Cabin Group and those that came with the main group after Howe's fell. We all know all characters have their strengths and their faults. They are human beings.

I'm sad, the cabin group: Pete, Alvin, Carlos, Nick, Sarah, Rebecca and Luke are all dead. I know, I know it's the Walking Dead world, all characters lives can come and go in an instant.

The more and more the end came, the more nervous I got with the ultimate choice I will have to take. Some choices in Season 2 I changed for a positive walkthrough (replayed the choice with Luke and the frozen lake) , and some when I replay are cemented on my principle of character.

In the end, I picked up the Glock and urged both Jane and Kenny to stop...
And then...I yelled NO....and....SHOT Kenny.

Why? Maybe cause I too saw that Kenny was too far gone. Upon saying goodbye's, I accepted Jane's forgiveness and the stray family into Howe's, hoping to start something, hopefully for the better.

Sure I could replay and change my path, but it wouldn't make it any difference. Some of the choices we make in this game are ones I've mentioned on.

Tell me, fellow forum people, is there flaw in my belief? Kenny fans I can only ask for forgiveness in my decision. Hammer me with your scorn :-(

This is what I believe and hope not to be told differently.

I eagerly await Season 3, but in the meantime some fanfics caught my eye: "Always the Quiet Ones" & "Into the Fray". Hopefully, when Season 3 comes out, I will not spoil myself so easily

  • Do you know about the Kenny and alone endings at all?

  • Yes, I read about them on the wiki.

Maybe, I replay just to see, maybe...

But with the final choice I made, I want to follow into Season 3. It being my story and all.

Plus, I feel I saved Kenny from himself. Probably...
