I remember is S2 Ep 3 Kenny saying something like " Have you ever been a prisoner." So does this mean kenny went to Jail before the apocolypse and tried to escape?

I think he was referring to St. Johns sticking them in a meat locker. His attitude then was very similar to the way he acted in the truck.

He was referring to what happened at the Saint Johns Dairy I believe.
I think he meant back when he first met the Saltlicks...
Even disregarding the meatlocker thing, almost certainly yes. Most likely for fighting on a boat while intoxicated.
