Anyone else miss carley? ? They could have left christa and omid out if they kept her. I like christa and omid too but the emotional connection with them wasn't all the way there in season 2

yeah it would have been interesting to have seen what would have happened between her, Lee and Clem, but I think I remember seeing in an interview one of the TellTale writers saying that they didn't know if they could pull off a good romantic storyline, and so they ensured it never happened. But I think there was a reason for those two being Clem's caretakers at the beginning, in that Clem experienced another family being ripped apart. Also, Omid was the optimistic one in the group, and so his death was a tone-setter.
But yeah, I just wonder what Telltale could have done with Carley, because she was a great character
Yeah, and just when her and Lee were beginning to develop a romance, then bang they kill her off. Same with Duck, as believe it or not, but he was becoming sorta likable with the whole funny detective stuff and then he got bitten and that was it.
What about Doug? Does Doug mean nothing?
Rip Carley. She was one of my favorite characters. Nice, insightful, pretty. I'm glad they wrote her off the way they did. The moment she got shot was one of the most awe inspiring moments in the game for me. I was flabbergasted.
I recently just replayed choosing Doug instead of carley and yes. I would have to say he was kind of irrelevant
I have to agree. Since they did decide to kill her I'm glad it was by the hands of lilly and not a walker [determinant]. Just thought her death was extremely surprising. I was totally thrown off first time around.

Yeah I agree. Carley was one of the best character's.
And remember that Lilly's future choice is amazing and it's wouldn't be possible if she hadn't killed Carley

For me she was intresting in ep 1 however after that she became sort of meh, All her back and forth trust was complteley gone along with a lot of her more bitchy attitude and instead we just saw another blank helper, doug was as well but at least he had some more entertaning lines.

I hate to break this to you, but...
Season 1 was sooooooo last season... no really... (bad joke). Obviously I love Carley (hence the profile pic); her character had a ton of potential, but lets be honest, so did so many others. Naturally, she had more, being a suggested love interest of Lee, and, even if she survived him, we could have gotten to know how she felt about losing him the same way we did with Clementine. But my point is all the characters had really interesting stories to tell and they got cut short, but that's the point. You don't get their story. One false move (or even legit move) and they're gone and that's it.

No not really, I never understood why everyone cared so much about Carley. She was barely in the game, She was hardly in episode 2, then dies in episode 3. She was a decent character but felt flat, like she didn't drama. The only thing she did was piss off Lilly, then died to develop Lilly's character. I feel that she could of been a better character if they would of included her in S1 E2- to E3.
Me and my dad both saved doug, mainly cause it always seemed like he was hitting on lee and thought it was funny

Well that and save everyones lives outside the drugstore, and Lee's life again like five minutes later from the bathroom walker. Weren't you the one who said if someone saved your life, you'd remember it? She also knows Lee's secret, but gives him the benefit of the doubt. And if you save her in Macon, she saves Lee's life a couple more times and gives Lee the idea to come clean to the people he trusts before Lilly blurts it out.
My bad. Yeah she saved Lee's life. Its been a while bro, i don't got the whole game memorized. I just remember her being pretty stale compared to the rest of the cast, the only thing she ever said with any spunk was when she died.

I disagree, I thought she was pretty funny. Especially if you ask her about the broken flashlight in Ep. 3, she just kinda shrugs and says it's broken, then suggests the batteries could be in backwards, only for Lee to tell her it takes just one. She's also really keen when it came to the group's little political struggles. She tells Lee to keep his secret to avoid drama for the time being, in Starved for Help she gives you a good run down on how people will probably react to who you feed and in Long Road Ahead you got a her trying to get Lee ahead of when Lilly spills the beans.
I would agree her character isn't as complex as most of the cast though. She's basically the traditional heroic archetype. Brave, noble and effective. Which is probably why so many people like her, but I'm not sure where you could have really taken her character though. Other than the increasingly bad situations grinding down her heroic attributes, but they do with most everyone, especially S1 Kenny.
It would have been interesting to see if she could be a leader maybe. Despite having a lot of insight into people and being very fair, she never attempts to outright take control of situations, just react to them. This is likely due to her background as a reporter, she's used to evaluating and commenting on things but not dictating them. Might have been fun to see her attempt to step up into a role where everyone else will be evaluating and possibly even criticizing her for her own actions.
Sometimes i wish the game was more like the television show. After every season, they don't automatically kill every single character off, except Carl.

she was the best female character off all seasons(excluding clementine). I dont want that clem turn a copy of anyone, but if I had to choose someone for clem base his moral, for sure was gonna be Carley. She didint nothing wrong, have much humanity, character,only attacks in self-defense or to protect a loved one. let me show you what she did for lee and everyone in the group
saves all lifes since the beginning, shoot the walker saving duck's life and let the group enter in the drugstore ( the opposite of some assholes who wanted to let KIDS and everyone die outside )
She was badass, but not ceased to be so friendly. not because she was in an apocalipse, that dont changed his moral ( the oposite off....... you know) I loved his pose against St john's. " Back off, i said back off!"
She was neutral about the shit Kenny/Lilly fight ( i think she prefered Kenny, just like me, but was respecting Lilly, even though she was a crazy bitch)
She save Duck's life (again) In the dairy, Shoot Andy just to protect everyone
She found batteries for clem, she was the best guardian for clem, after Lee. i never acept her death
She provides her food to you IN THE MIDDLE OF A ZOMBIE APOCALIPSE, SHE OFFERS HER FOOD FOR ANOTHER PERSON.
She saves lee's life/ clem's life shooting in the drugstore zombie
