Would you want an alternate Season 2 where
In episode 5 of Season 1 Lee never got bit due to either "A feeling" Or the Zombie that would have bit him exposed himself somehow and he presses on to Save Clem and continue to journey with her longer?
Playing though Season 2 I couldn't help but be curious on how things would have been if Lee did manage to stay alive and how their relationship would have progressed as she aged to where she is now and how Lee would have reacted to everything. Naturally this would be NON-CANON of course just a extra little what if.

you know, i was actually thinking about that today.
Sure I wanted Lee to survive, but it'd change my experience with the S2. Lee is dead for me. Clementine would've been different person if he wasn't, and if I have to choose, I'd rather stick with Clem we saw in S2 than go on with father-daughter relationship again.
Season 1 wouldn't have an emotional ending.
what i was thinking was, lee cut off his arm, they somehow knew what they were doing and got the supplies to help him live. Then Lee grabs ben before he falls to his death, ben grabs the walkie before it falls in with the walkers, Everyone makes it across except for lee and ken, they fight the walkers without dying, they all meet outside the door at the marsh house, When the stranger shows up kenny bursts in and shoots him, they all get out to the fields, they discuss what happens next, lee is okay, lee backs up omid before he is shot, they give michelle supplies and send her on her way, And they get to wellington with the group Of, Lee, Clem, Omid, Ben, Kenny, Christa, And Christa's Child. (Bromid Jr.) Thats what i was thinking real hard about today.
yeah, but i think it's what clem would have wanted.
Lee is dead to me. I really don't want anymore call backs to him, I just wish TTG would let his character go.
Eh....I was thinking Lee just avoids getting bit all together, and the same things that happened in the original episode still happened except for big differences like, when Lee was going towards the house surrounded by zombies you would ABSOLUTELY NOT MAKE ANY MISTAKES or immediate game over(Cause of the bite factor.), second Lee wouldn't have passed out after Clem saw her parents, and they would have successfully got back to Omid and Christa and the route to Season 2 begins for them both.
Define what you mean by letting go. If your definition is what I think it is, Would you want to just forget a cherished and loved one so easily and act as if they don't exist? Letting go shouldn't mean just because they're dead you aren't allowed to keep them in your hearts and reference them from time to time, ESPECIALLY if they left a huge long lasting impression on you all it means is that persons memory and legacy will stay with you forever so long as you don't forget.
......However I understand the real problem people like you have is the game doesn't allow you to forget about Lee whether you like it or not rightfully so.
@DingoEnderZOE2 I don't want to forget about him, but S2 lives of the nostalgia of the first, especially with Lee. Every episode had a call back to him, I know it was very sad what happened. But we need to move past him.
Not forget, but don't reference him as much.
?) Lee will remember that.
?) Clem Is sad.
?) Kenny is getting his saltlick ready for you.
Once again, why is it such a bad thing that he was referenced so much given the huge impact he had on Clem?
GRANTED I will admit that once season 3 comes out if they repeat the same amount of references in it, THEN and ONLY THEN I can understand where you're coming from.
I feel like its not needed. The only time I felt like it was used correctly was when Clem talked about Lee in the truck with Kenny. Every other time it feels forced, its like TTG is like "Hey, remember him?"
Honestly, to me it felt like TT just used up those scenes to manipulate my emotions of season one nostalgia.
I feel season 2 would have been better if he had not have died; once they knew season 2 was going to be a thing they should have held off on killing Lee. Playing as an adult and watching youself and Clementine change overtime would have been nice to watch.
I wish Lee would've survived to season 2.
In some respect, I didn't like playing as Clementine.
Mainly cause I had built up a rapport with Lee.
Not just in personal attachment to the character, but also had him build rapport with other characters in the series.
So instead of being able to continue with that, I had to go and do the same thing all over again; as Clementine.
I would've liked to have continued to teach Clementine about survival, and what it means to be a good person, as Lee.
To watch her grow as a person.
To have continued my golden friendship with Kenny.
And as Lee, been able to support him during his time of grief, as I did in Season 1, as Lee.
To have perhaps been a mentor to Luke.
To have killed Carver.
And to have kept the group together.
In my personal opinion, deciding to kill Lee off at the end of the series, was the worst choices telltale has made in the game's history.
The second to it, is turning Kenny into a determinate character.
The game needs characters who've been around since the beginning, in order to give it strength, and added appeal.
Kenny; aside from Clementine, is the only one of the original characters left.
I never understood why people keep complaining about the ending. Lee died as a hero, helping the last person he cared about. This game was always about Clementine and how child can evolve into a survivor.
Lilly, Christa? They are unknown, but it doesn't mean we will never see them again.
Christa wasn't around since the beginning.
And she didn't have as big an impact on the story like Kenny or Lilly.
And we met Kenny before we met Lilly.
So Kenny has more seniority.
And unlike Lilly, Kenny proved himself to be a decent and selfless individual.
His pleading for Clementine and Alvie to be allowed to stay in Wellington, even if that meant he couldn't, proved that, and how much he cared for Clementine and the baby.
Unlike Lilly, who if you allow to stay in the group after she murders Carly, steals the Rv, leaving Lee, Clementine, and Kenny and his family for dead.
Lilly proved herself to be a survivalist.
Who like Jane: "Was a disturbed person who had her own agenda; and was lookin' after herself."
Clementine isn't at that stage to just erase Lee from her memory.
They reference Duck in every episode.
Season 2 was almost as weak as Resident Evil 6.
I said it Telltale. What now.
Lilly has a good side too. She's not a bad person and she's not like Jane at all. Kenny is good, but it's not a fact. In some people's pleythroughs he can be an asshole.
.
I'd much prefer a Season 2 where Kenny died back in Savannah. I'm fairly certain the story would improve once the writers no longer had him as a crutch to rely on - they'd actually have to work harder with making us give a crap about the characters.
Sure, I would just enjoy a what-if game of any kind. I made a thread about this a while back and it got mixed reception. But yeah, I would support any type of AU.
