Here is how i see it, when she was a playable character she was pretty much a emotionless shell. I mean there were a few moments that Clementine was real, like when Kenny is talking to her about leaving her in Wellington, but to be honest those scenes were so infrequent, it didn't even matter.
Look at how Lee was handled, he showed anger, remorse, his feelings. Clementine failed to do that, the way they wrote her character in S2 felt hollow pretty much the entire game. I think the #1 example is right after Sarah dies, Luke asks Clementine if shes ok.
Clementine can say, Yes, ..., and NO. That was it.
Or perhaps TellTalle could Answer my prayers by in the future making a spinoff series where lee isn't bitten, and he keeps on being the PC, on S2 S3 and all the others they'll make, would be pretty interesting to see how different the story would be.
I would rewrite it so that most of the cast of S1 would of been in Season 2. Ben in my mind had a lot of making up to do, I would of kept Duck alive, Carley/Doug, Lilly, her father, pretty much everyone, except mark. I feel like this series writes interesting characters to the point where we get attached to them, then they kill them off. Eventually people will stop investing emotions about these characters because they know that their "determinant."
Serious question about this.. I have never read the comic's so I really don't know, but why can they not time skip beyond 2 years?? I alway's thought they used the comic's in Kirkman's world but how does that make them forced to only remain within 2 years?
Do the comic's only allow 2 year max time skip's? How would Telltale doing a 5 year time skip (for example) not be allowed? It this some Rule?
it isn't some rule about how long they can go the rule is they can't go further in the timeline than the comic right now the comic is 4 years into the apocalypse and the game is 2 so they can only go 2 years max as they are not allowed to go past the comic timeline or else canon issues would occur

Okay, I understand what you're saying and in a way it makes sence. I just didnt realize Telltale was obligated to follow the comic's time-line. To me, since we're not playing as Rick or any of Kirkman's specific character's I wouldnt think Telltale would have to follow any specific rule's like that.
To be honest, I hope they don't because then that seriously limit's what Telltale can do in the future. I want to see many more season's and see Clem become an adult allowing her the maturity and skill's to do more than just a child.

I don't see how they can do it without a time lapse. With the endings you could pick, they would have to write up so many different stories, and lets be honest, the choices never really made a massive impact. As in having to write multiple paths, I wish they did I have wanted the choice to make this kind of difference from the first season. So I do think there will be a time skip, but I hope I am wrong cause it would be awesome for everyone to be talking about the different paths they are taking in season 3. Sadly I just don't see that happening.

A lot of wasted opportunity for the Telltale writers. Yesssssss
Uuh uh uh- DLC material. Technically, it's not even wasted.
