Nothing left to discuss.

Quite frankly, there is nothing left to discuss, in regards to TWD.
Everything has been discussed, and re-discussed, to the point where it has become mind-numbing.
And besides, how much is there to actually discuss about a videogame?

How many of you are thinking about taking a break from this site, until Season 3 comes out?

  • Well, there is the Telltale Talk section.

I don't think I have actively discussed anything about the game since like... September (I honestly kind of miss all of the Kenny arguments..). I'm certainly not still around these parts just because of the game. I love the community around here. I can genuinely say I have become a smarter, better person because of some of the people I have met around here. We'll all fade and disperse eventually, but until then, I'm going to take advantage of being around such special individuals ;)

  • You'll be surprise at how fast time flies when you're away from this site.

  • Take a break till season 3 comes out? Pfft, I've got TFTBL and GoT to keep me company till then, and even then there's always the off topic place.

  • I'm on Telltale Talk here and there but even that's pittering out ㅠ_ㅠ

Well, there is the Telltale Talk section.

  • I don't come on here much anymore because you are right, there is nothing to discuss, only speculate what season 3 will be without any clues. So yeah it is getting boring here last couple of months.

  • There isn't much more to discuss, just the hidden scenes, small details / facial expressions etc that people missed.

  • I drink to make these forums fun again. Sometimes i get a little mouthy though.

  • Exactly.
A couple of days ago, with eveything having been talked to death, I began thinking to myself: "Why the hell am I still visiting this site? There are tons of things I could be doing right now, things that are constructive, as opposed to just sitting here and reading old topics and comments. And mostly they're about a videogame; which in the grand scheme of things is very unimportant, as all videogames are really good for is entertainment."

I'm staying here for TFTB and GOT.

  • Yeah there isn't anything left to talk about really. But I'm not taking a break, I got TFTB and GoT to keep me happy, plus TWAU's and TWD s2's respective DLC when they release.

  • I'm staying on the Telltale talks until TFTBL and GoT.

  • Well Borderlands is coming out, so I'm moving over there for awhile.

  • There isn't that much so that's why I'm usually on the Mega Thread or working on my Fan Fic.

  • This is the time when the fan fictions should be put back on the main page.

  • I'm still active because I'm waiting for the release of Game of Thrones. By then the forums will be buzzing with new discussions and new member to meet. (I'm sure most of these new members would be unfamiliar with the Walking Dead or Clementine b/c they joined b/c of the Game of Thrones game)

  • We can discuss about what's left to discuss.

  • I haven't really been that active since like September but I will still lurk around these forums and people still find something to talk about.

  • There is the "Walking Fan Art of the Dead" thread. It's not a discussion thread, but it is still active and gets new post every other day.

  • I visit less often, but i still check out the threads a lot, especially the fanart ones. Hell, I'm sticking around.

  • ...So...Not much....

  • Think I could play it on a $300 Toshiba laptop from 2010 ㅠ___ㅠ I could barely manage Season 2. Even more, could I actually play Borderlands? It looks good, but I highly doubt I could handle the graphics.

Well Borderlands is coming out, so I'm moving over there for awhile.

  • I'm really only coming in for Telltale Talk these days. You're right, there's nothing left in regards to TWD.

  • I play on console, so I really have any problems.

  • Aw that sounds cool :) so by interactive fanfic do you mean it's like a type of RP?

And mine's just a sequel to a TWDG fic I did months back. It revolves around Clem and Luke at Wellington, where a couple of other characters from the game will pop up too.

Well, I don't even have a TV so...........

  • I know people who have never owned a TV, they just used their PC's all the time.

  • Honestly, I don't really have a reason too... The biggest local news station streams online, I can download most movies cheaply and legally for only $1-4 ($10 if it's currently in theatres), and even tv shows are something like 50 cents an episode online... Basically, in Korea, phones, television, and computers are basically becoming the same thing (and mutually sharing), it just depends on the size of the screen.

I know people who have never owned a TV, they just used their PC's all the time.

  • Well console's can hook up to monitors you just in need the right cords.

You live in Korea? What's it like there?

  • Ah, yeah, I know newer models do that, I just have an old (VCA?) monitor, so I can't hook it up. I'm also not much of a console person, to be honest, so nothing really hooks up to the old yellow, red and white cables any more (my latest systems are SNES and Playstation 2). I'm not much of a gamer, the only think I'd really be interested in is the Final Fantasy series, and they're increasingly going to console and PC, so if I get a new computer and a nice graphics card I'm gold.

Korea's good. Seoul can be annoying just because it's such a populated and congested city. (Better than Los Angeles, because at least here there's a good, clean subway system). Advanced technology, good eats, good night culture (IE go out with friend for food and a drink, maybe karaoke, or the such). No culture is without its frustrations but I'm pretty happy here.

  • Most consoles now don't use the colored cables now, they generally use HDMI cables now.

I've heard a lot of awesome things about Korea, glad you're happy living there.
