Guys honestly, I wanted to stop commenting, but please, get your refund while you still can. They aren't going to fix this.

' only to have ART dropped on you like a bomb from Google and angry customers pointing the finger at you. '

ART has been around since 4.4 (OCTOBER 2013!!!) The Lollipop developer preview since JUNE 2014 and 5.0 since NOVEMBER 2014.

How is this being dropped on them? They are developers taking our money, they need to be up too speed.

Honestly, get your refund while you can.

  • Hi everyone, I found this topic because I'm having the same issue.
But honestly, I don't think having Lollipop is a great deal (I don't do things with 5.0.2 that I can't do with 4.4.4...), so I just downgraded my Nexus 7 (2013) to KitKat.
And now TWAU works perfectly fine. And other Telltalegames too.
I also tried the last CyanogenMod (CM 11) based on KitKat and it works as well.

The Nexus 7 was made for KitKat, so maybe it's Google's job to repair what doesn't work with Lollipop..

I take back what I said on sunday... the game worked perfectly on CyanogenMod 11 (kitkat based) for one day, and on monday the sound was even worst than with 5.0.2 Lollipop.... like some kind of 8-bits games from the 80's... !!
I tried everything, deleting the cache, the game, but I can't get it to work again with normal sound....
(and any other sound / music works just fine on my nexus 7)

  • Same problem.
Nexus 7 stock android. No sound problem before on kit kat.
    Now running 5.0.2
    Build LRX22G

Would prefer a fix than have to get a refund.

  • TWAU is still unplayable. Same as TWD S01 and S02. I didn't try Borderlands nor GoT.
After a couple of months of waiting for patch or solution (or at least a damn "sorry", not to mention any kind of statement/feedback) it seems that "we got your money so bugger off" philosophy won. I've waited patiently because I really wanted to play your games. Today I've opened a ticket to Google Play asking to give me my money back. I'll post information about their answer and after that I won't be interested in any titles coming from your studio. I'm just one customer so for you it's actually not a big deal, but still. My idea to write this post was simple: Telltale, I do not agree to you showing a middle finger to your customers.

  • Made an account to post in this thread. Was really enjoying my playthrough until the sound went to hell. Look at the amount of views on this thread. Laughable that this hasn't (won't?) be fixed.

  • Hello again. I've been given my money back by Google Play. GL to other ppl still waiting for the fix or at least some comment. No-thank you Telltale and goodbye.

  • SO glad I got my refund. Soon to be a year and nothing from Telltale, its hilarious.
