Has Carl finally lost it? (issue 134 spoilers)

edited November 2014 in The Walking Dead

so after 2 boys attack carl and start beating up sophia carl beats both boys with a shovel and the issue ends with him saying that he thinks he killed them do you think carl has finally lost it now? or is it just his survival instinct similar to how rick butchered the marauders when they were about to rape carl

  • They deserved it, he has the look of fear on his face. That either means he has sympathy or he's scared, if he truly lost it he would be proud and happy. He did the right thing in my book...

  • that is a good point but i'm still not sure it is most likely you are right but idk it's kinda hard to tell at the moment i personally think he is more scared of what the others might think or do

  • Still that means he hasn't fully lost it, he realizes what he did was wrong morally and scared at his punishment. It shows he doesn't have pride in what he did and correspondingly not lost it.

  • I don't think he's lost it, it's a similar situation to Ricks with the Marauders, he's just protecting people he cares about.

  • I don't think he's crazy or anything. I think this was his 1st time back in action, after a long lull. I don't think he could control himself. He looks more surprised than anything in the last shot.
