Save File Question

So my PS3 died on me and I was wondering when season 3 comes out will my PS3 story saves work on the PS4 version of season 3 or do I gotta buy season 1 and 2 again but for my PS4.
Id like someone to plz answer me

    Currently, I don't believe cross platform saves exist for Walking Dead Seasons 1/2. Sorry.

    What is wrong with it? All you need to do is swap out the hard drives, most likely that is still good. If you wanted to, you could take hard drive out of your PS3, hook it up to a external, grab the files, and put them on a flash save to save all your game data. Then buy or repair your PS3.
