I have season 1 on my 360, can I now download it for my Xbox One?
Hello!
I've bought each individual episode of the first season of the Walking Dead through the Xbox store on my 360, including 400 days.
I'd really like to play it on my new Xbox One. Since I've purchased all the content for season 1, is it now possible to download it for the Xbox One?
Also, would my save games from the 360 transfer over to the Xbox One? They are currently saved to the cloud. I might finish season 1 on my 360, then purchase season 2 for the Xbox One. But if my save games with all my decisions don't transfer over, that'd be a real shame!
Thanks,
Mark

Unfortunately, you will have to buy the game again if you want to replay it on Xbox One.
Newer titles such as Tales from the Borderlands and Game of Thrones are providing players with Cloud Saves tied to a Telltale profile, which I assume likely carry across platforms. It is safe to assume that newer titles after Borderlands and Thrones will also use the new Cloud Save feature where saves are tied to your Telltale profile, but I don't know if Telltale will update older choice-based games to add this feature.
I am only a volunteer community moderator speaking from experience and I am not Telltale staff, so I'm only making educated guesses and I don't speak for Telltale.
I wish.
Thank you very much for your assistance!
It's a real shame because I'm making my way through the game and I've just finished chapter 3 of season 1, and if I'm wanting to continue my save game into season 2 I guess I'll have to buy the Xbox 360 version.
From what I understand, the only thing that's carried over in the save game between seasons is who lives/dies? And that's generated randomly if you start season 2 fresh? Is there a way to choose who's alive/dead manually?
PS3 to PS4 aren't cross compatible, they did that to piss gamers off, and because they were too stupid/cheap to do it. No one wants to have a PS3/PS4 all these consoles hooked up. One or two.
I have a PS2, that is cross compatible with ps1,, and a PS3 that is cross with ps2, Not a PS4 though. Sony sucks.
