Why? Don't you think it could work from more than one viewpoint? I like the way they have incorporated this so far on TftB and GoT because it adds different perspectives and there is more chance of decisions having a ripple effect across playable characters. For me the setting and genre don't make much of a difference.
Let me put it this way - if season 3 episodes will be 90-100 minutes long again then no - two playable character's isn't great idea.
You're right that it's great thing in TftB and GoT but I don't think it could work in TWD. In my opinion, it's better to follow story as one character.

is there anybody who are sort of satisfied with the ending? im quite happy to be satisfied with Clems story through the 2 games, she and Kenny made it,season 3 just seems filler if it's with Clem IMO.
I feel like S2 was filler. it was a little less interactive, our choices didn't affect much other than a few dialogue options...and they rehashed having to choose b/t Kenny and someone else...S3 can redeem Clem's story

agree on that man...more hubs will:
1)increase play time
2)increase depth of story
3)increase play time
4)increase play time
5)satiate the craving for the walking dead for a little longer
6)and increase play time
Yea me too but even if she is not, we could at least get a conclusion. Though that may be easier if we play her after the bandit attack and not before, though you never know.
I agree with everything you said except about Minecraft. They've already been talking about the test animation and everything plus it has a confirmed release date for 2015 so I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it released this Summer before Thrones and Tales wrap up.
I think it's more likely that Telltale are going to release TWD S3 alongside Minecraft, like they did with S2 and TWAU. I don't see the Supe… morer Show happening till at least 2017. They're most likely going to finish TFTBL and GOT in mid or late 2015, then start Minecraft around November/December, and S3 around January or February.
I think Telltale will most likely wait until Game and Tales are fully finished before they start releasing their next game. The wait between the end of TWD S2 and the beginning of TFTBL was 3 months, I'd expect something similar this time as well.

Season 3 probably won't be out until late 2016, maybe early 2017.
They have GoT and TftB running for probably a good rest of 2015, then t… morehey got Minecraft Story Mode and their Super Show stuff.
I dunno, I certainly don't expect the game this year, probably next year though.
Hopefully they keep the same schedule as they did between Season 1 and 2. If they do, we might get a DLC soon enough and, if my math isn't wrong, the first episode of Season 3 might be released in September.

I only seeing this working with a whole new cast of characters. TFFBL and GOT make it work because the playable characters rarely interact with one another, but the major choices effect someone else's story. If they did it with TWD, I can see it working with a story were a group or community has to have someone or some group split up and go interact with another group. Choices made while separated greatly impact the everyone when together and thus can alter the events of the final episode.
I feel like if Clem is going to be the PC for Season 3, they have to have a character for her to interact with that can influence you and you can influence back. That way, the end of the season can reflect on how much you impacted the deuteragonist and how they impacted you. I will say though that regardless of whether Clem is the PC or deuteragonist for season 3, her story has to retire. I'd rather her story conclude that for TellTale to squeeze every drop out of her to the point where she is no longer a memorable player. Let's not make Clementine the "Sonic" or "Mario" of TellTale Games, please!

DO NOT i repeat DOO NOTTT make us play AJ. in season 3, season 4, season 500, i dont care. i dont give a crap about AJ and would hate a season in which i would be forced to play him!

Although the game is limited by the comic book, so AJ would be like 2 years old maximum, I'm gonna be honest and say that it would be pretty cool to play as AJ eventually.

Trust me, you're not the first person on here to say they don't like AJ. And even though TWD is still going on, I don't see Kirkman being able to keep this series going another 8-10 years to make AJ a good enough PC. And besides, even if it did, that would make Clem an adult, and that would be WAY more interesting, to see Clem as an adult, possibly leading her own group, that would be amazing.
the comic book is still going, is it not? if the twd continues past season 3 and beyond AJ might become old enough.
besides, i know it's … morenot likely. i just wanna make sure telltale knows that I don't care about AJ.
so telltale: I don't care about AJ!

Sadly, and I'm saying this as I can be, but TellTale most likely listens to the majority opinion. I mean, I have many unpopular opinions that I know would never be listened to.
I know that it would take at least another full season before they made AJ have any more significance, but although many people don't like AJ or even the idea of him, it'd be pretty cool to eventually play as someone where the only world they know is apocalyptic.

I just really want a choice to leave AJ in the snow for the walkers.
okay, that may be a bit harsh. xD
it's too bad, too. i really liked rebecca and alvin. if rebecca were still alive i'd probably care about AJ. ya know, for rebecca's sake.
This has been said so many times, but sorry. The game is canon to the comics so unless the comic series skips like 8-10 year in the future we won't be able to play as an adult Clem.

They are, but they have been done to death at times. Don't get me wrong, I love Sonic and Mario just as much as anyone else (I actually like Sonic more because I had a friend with whom we played the Sega Genesis alot). The only thing that keeps them from completely losing their spotlight is, in my opinion, how they are implemented in different types of gameplays (Mario Karts, Mario Party, SuperSmash Bros, the olympics thing, the millions of fun ways to play Sonic, etc). Mario and Sonic are also in in universes of pure fantasy and endless possibilities. With Clementine and the whole TWD story, you can only do so much before she and the story become repetitive and stale. Now, you can implement her in different aspects of TWD like have her appear in a novelization or the tv show. You can even create alternate universes for Clem's story (for example, what if Clem's parents were alive and at home when Lee fell into their backyard - interesting huh?). I'm just saying for this current story of TWD, you can only do so much before her story becomes stale. Now I could be wrong, and I would gladly eat crow for TellTale proving me wrong. That's just how I feel though. Also, sorry for the long reply. It wasn't that serious to reply like that, it's just that keeping things short and sweet is not my strong suit.
Just a heads up, a clickbait news site is generating a fake news story for views, saying that Walking Dead: Season 3 is coming in May. This is not true, so be careful not to get your hopes up or circulate the fake news.

I vote for this idea. ^^^^^^^^^^^^
Seconded, chuck in a second playable character as well
Two playable characters? Nope, I don't think that's a good idea in The Walking Dead. It works fine with TftB but I'm not so sure about TWD.

I agree with YOU
I want play only Clementine
So strange.
These 6 months have been much faster than the off-season between Season 1 and Season 2.
I can not wait until Season Three. ^__^
Still waiting...

That'd be cool. I hope Christa turns out to be Ok in Season 3.
That about sums it up
Yea me too but even if she is not, we could at least get a conclusion. Though that may be easier if we play her after the bandit attack and not before, though you never know.

No way, I see Season 3 coming early 2016 TBH, no way early 2017. Their "Super Show" will probably not start until Walking Dead S3 is finished.
Hopefully they keep the same schedule as they did between Season 1 and 2. If they do, we might get a DLC soon enough and, if my math isn't wrong, the first episode of Season 3 might be released in September.

Mine - Clementine with Jane and family in Howe's.
Wake me when you need me,
or when S3 comes out.
