If there is a new playable character for Season 3, what would like them to be like?
Here's what I'd like to a new PC character to be like.
Gender: Male.
Race: Caucasian.
Age: 50-60 yrs old.
Appearance: Graying Ponytail and Biker Mustache.
Voice Actor: Ted Levine. ( Fyi, if you don't know who Ted Levine is, I would advise Googling him.)
Backstory: Was a Wealthy business man, before ZA.
The Reason: I think it would be interesting to see how a rich guy would do in TWD.
Alternative Backstory: Was a truck driver, before TWD.
Reason: I think it would add more interesting dialogue about where to go and what to do, given his knowledge of the open road.
Regardless of which storyline he'd have, I would like him to have been a family-man.
Someone who had a family, who has an only son, who's striving to protect him.
Another thing I'd like to see, is the character's appearance change over the course of the Season. For example, say he starts out as clean shaven and a short haircut, but as the Season progresses you see his beard and hair grow out; not only to reflect the passage of time, but to also show shuttle changes happening to him as time passes, both appearance wise and personality wise.
Another thing I'd like, I'd like to have the new character travel on a motorcycle, as opposed to on foot like everyone else.
Disclaimer: I'm more than aware that there have been a lot of Threads about this subject.
And I would've posted something new, except that everything on here regarding TWD has talked and re-talked to death.
Comments
It will be Clem end of the story.
A girl. Kinda like Clem but older, some kind of scary backstory... maybe knew someone who was in the group while they were at the motor inn, tough. Maybe a good old English girl. That would be cool.
As long as it's an adult I wouldn't care.
I'd like Bobbie Sue from Big Mutha Truckers to be playable character. Or at least to appear in 3rd season.
A big plus to that
Clem all the way, i mean why would they just leave clem?? If i could be a protagonist related to clem that is fine but no i wouldn't be someone from a totally another group with no one to mention clem
An adult from 18-50 range I dont care beyond that NOT A CHILD
A straight white physically fit male with short brown hair and stubble of course.
Clementine. Otherwise, a female character around 20-30
I'd like to play as someone who was serving in the military at the beginning of the apocalypse and either return to when the outbreak had just begun or see the story of what happened slowly unravel in flashbacks in which we affect what happens during the current time in the game. Everything else except for age doesn't really matter to me I'd like who we play as someone relatively young. A good age in my opinion would be 18-27 seeing as we haven't played as someone in that age range except for in 400 days. Also I think it would be interesting to play as someone in a minority, it becomes boring to consistently play as the same straight, white, male character. This is in regards to video games in general which tend to stick to this formula for a character and is not directed towards TWDG, since we've played as Lee and Clementine which in my opinion qualify as diverse characters.
Okay, I loled.
A young woman voiced by Jennifer Hale. Her Shepard voice was better then Mark Meer's.
Back Story-All was going well for Detective Jane Watkins, she cracked her big case, earned a lot of money and bought a big house... then the dead started walking. Using her police training to her advantage and her sharp negotiation skills, she was able to climb the ranks and become the leader of a growing settlement referred to as... Wellington.
any kind of character, as long as theyre likable
I don't know, I thought Mark had a great sounding voice.
Another voice I really liked, was the actor who played Garrus.
In fact, I'd like to see Garrus' voice actor join the cast of the TWD game.
Anyone but Clementine.
Oh, who am I kidding...
I'd like it to be someone like Ben, a cowardly teenager who has to really learn how to handle their fears and rise up, as they meet Clementine. It's more like Clementine is looking after them, sort of thing until they become brave and prove themselves.
Line dancin' sure does seem like a great strategy for surviving the zombie apocalypse.
vomits.
Children get too much attention.
Play as walker Lee and rip Arvo to pieces.
not everyone in this fandom likes clem.. sadly..
new protag? well they will be like...
i freaking love clem tho, people hate clem for having superhuman powers
Character Name: Homicidal Dave
Voiced by: Michael McConnohie
A Ex Army War Hero, whose mind has cracked under the pressure He is a lot like Rigs from Lethal Weapon. He is obsessed with explosives and sets traps everywhere he goes. He loves watching things explode, it gives him a sort of sexual release. He carries a assortment of grenades of all variety in his long green duffle bag that he carries on his back. He has a AR-15 assault rifle, fully customized with a red dot scope, he has three side arms. He wears body Armor, with a ceramic plate in the front.
Homicidal Dave knows how to fix anything mechanical as his previous position in the army as a engineer. He also has average knowledge in field medicine being a medic in the army for seven years. He knows what plants are safe to eat, how to track people/animals, how to set traps etc. He spends most of his time setting traps for Animals or Zombies.
Motives: Homicidal Dave is trying to find his daughter who was living with her mother after they split up. His ex wife left him because they got a divorce after Homicidal Dave went to the strip club and lied about it. She moves back to her mother's house with his kid, back to Oregon. Homicidal Dave is trying to reach his daughter's house throughout the journey.
Disabilities/problems: Homicidal Dave has a serious Drug/alcohol problem. He is always behind the shed hanging out with the "art teacher." If you know what i mean, he gets angry and yells a lot, but he is also a funny guy as well. So you are not sure what to think of him, he never lets you get too close or too distant. He always keeps you at that healthy distance. He reminds you of how Joel treated Ellie in TLOU in the beginning, an asshole but he eventually warms to you at the end of the season.
Someone with character development.
I said this in another post but I only want another protagonist to come in if they 100% need to do it or they are going to have Clem as a playable character sometime during the season. Right with that out of the way.
Gender: Girl, Race: I don't know the terms so I'm going with maybe Jane race idk, age: 13-14. I don't want anymore time skips TELLTALE! Name: Keara, and voice actor: idk.
Backstory/What Happens From Then On: She was with her mum and her dad when the ZA started in Atlanta they travelled down towards wherever the location of Howes was (WAIT HOLD ON DISCLAIMER I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE FAMILY YOU SEE IN JANES ENDING, BECAUSE THIS IS A FEMALE! K CARRY ON) Her mother fell over one time and hit her head on the side of a curb causing her to be Knocked out without the father or Keara realising in time they turn around to see her getting mauled by walkers, both terrified of what had just happened they start pannicking and the father backs up too much into a corner (this is all happening during a herd btw.. they were running hence why she fell over in the first place) and on his way out his hair, get's nicked by one of the walkers hands and he get's caught and falls over on his back and now he's pretty much fucked. Keara traumatized runs for her life and finds the abandoned museum that Bonnie and mike found in episode 4 of season 2, she scouts for a while and finds the main bit that the goup were all staying at (season 2) you know, the bit with the statue and shit, you know what I mean, she finds that then later finds the abandoned observation 1/4 of a deck (get it because it br- alright) she finds the water underneath of the stairs where Mike had previously placed it she has a massive scull and then heads off in the opposite direction that Clems group were headed so opposite of the river she then finds a group about 5-6 miles heading straight around a campfire, she asks them for some food and only if you choose the right dialogue will they offer you some otherwise they will still talk but by the end you don't get any food
. You learn a bit more about her past, how they were with a massive group and whilist her and her parents were going on a scavenger hunt for some food they got overrun by walkers and never got to return to the group they walked for a while until they found Hershels farm which had been overrun but were now gone they scavenged the place and couldn't find anything of use. They go down the road a couple miles more and they found Chets house which was overrun aswell but there was food and there was ammunition for their weapons.. We don't know what happens from then on because someone rudely interrupts by saying they're going to sleep which causes everytone else to go to sleep, in the end if you chose the right dialogue then you would get food and stay if you didn't choose the right dialogue then you didn't get food but you got to stay anyway..
yeah I put some thought into this I guess it was kind of a backstory semi.. yeah, sorry for the long post. err, Have a good one
*Female
*African-American
*Looks like Christa
*Talks like Christa
*Is Christa
Well, other than that, I think we've had a little too many video games with your generic Caucasian male.
I wanna play as a cat who scratches walkers to death.
Actually, I think that's changing in a lot of video games. At the same time though bringing Christa back would seem stupid IMO. If they are gonna bring a new playable character, may as well have it be someone we've never seen before.
BUT IM A CAUCASIAN MALE.
Why the hell would that be stupid? That would be genius. At least they don't need to depend on a little girl for everything since we're the PC, and we'd get to know more about what happened to the baby and Clementine growing up. Christa isn't a stranger to us, she wouldn't be like a brand new character.
Guess it's a matter of opinion but bringing back an old character as PC would be stupid IMO.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. In a way, she's developed. Young woman who's lost her husband and child and now stranded alone during the ZA. IMO there's only so much you can build her.
Ah, but are you a video game character?
I guess so.
Really? Because I think through the season she'd be getting stronger, becoming more willing to find Wellington and Clementine at the same time.
Someone like Vince or Lee. An Ex Con but more of a hardened, experienced one. I'd also like to see him be somewhat reformed as the story goes on receiving major character changes. Like Season 1 but with more of a grizzly side
I'd like to play as the Raccoon
There's an episode of Castle and Garrus's voice actor thinks he got bitten by a zombie.
Also I liked Mark better
^This!
Is Homicidal Dave so badass that he breaks the 4th wall and is aware that the player is there?
People say i am very animated!
I'm such a bad influence on Clementine.
A man who is like Kenny, age about 30-40 , that he have a deep past before and after the apocalypse, that he was a truck driver but before truck driver he was in marines,he have lovely family , not many aggresive stance and that he was with Lee when he got arrested, so that he can tell you he know Lee that day when all of that was started so that he can share some info about him from the past.Maybe even better they can be relatives and he can tell you more about Lee before all this about his life in real world. Voice from Will Smith.
Tired of these boring ass characters i mean how many Alvins can we take. If TTG gives me a offer to write the next Season, i would contribute for free, i work for fan girls ^_^.
