After Season 2, I think that 400 Days should have been different.

As we know, the 400 Days characters(save for Bonnie) were all wasted in Season 2. Vince, Wyatt, Russell, Shel, Becca, and Tavia were all wasted and had just small cameos. Amazing characters like Nate and Eddie were left out entirely. Roman was found dead off screen. Characters like Leland, Justin, and the cancer survivors were left out entirely. So, with that in mind, I believe this is what they should have done instead. The characters of Vince, Wyatt, Russell, Shel, Bonnie, and Tavia are still playable and their stories are generally the same. However, there would be 3 more playable characters. They are Luke, Carlos, and Alvin. The characters of Sarah, Rebecca, Pete, Nick, Carver, Troy, and Reggie would also be worked Into the DLC. The decisions you made as Luke, Carlos, and Alvin would change their personality for season 2. If you are a survivalist and hothead as Luke, in "All That Remains" he would drop Clementine and vote for locking her in the shed. If you were overprotective and narrow-minded as Carlos, he would be strict with Clementine and tell Clementine to stay away from Sarah. If you are cowardly as Alvin, you would refrain from voting about the Shed. All the characters personalities would affect them in Season 2. Where the DLC normally ends(with Tavia) is only about halfway through. They then go to Carvers and the events unfold there. In addition to the 8 protagonists(not counting Tavia who stays), Reggie, Leland, Eddie, and Stephanie can also be there in the end. All of these characters find the cabin and they will become the cabin group in season 2. Tavia would stay behind and take up Bonnie's role in the current season 2. If you played her as a complete tool, she would steal from the group. If you played her strong and honest, she would be running an underground resistance against Carver. Both the Cabin group and the 400 Days characters would be combined.

  • I liked your idea! Maybe now TellTale should focus on making decisions matter by focusing on future episodes as well as the current episode they're working on.

  • That would have been awesome and funnily enough would have screwed a bunch of players in the first playthrough who didn't take the DLC seriously.
Which would have made the game heaps replayable.

  • That would be cool

  • Thanks! The other alternative would be if there was too much for one DLC they could split it into 3. The first part focuses in the existing 400 Days crew. The next on the Cabin crew. And the final on them meeting up at Howes and escaping.

  • Also, Roman would factor into Season 2 as well as Nate, both around Episode 4.

  • How?

  • TELLTALE HIRE THIS PERSON NOW!

    That would have been awesome.
Now it makes me sad that your version of 400 Days doesn't exist.

  • For Roman: There would be a larger museum near Parkers run(not just the one Mike and Bonnie were at). You explore it until you find a group there. Roman and the Scavengers from Episode 1 are there. In my version, Carver would survive until Episode 4 where he would attack the group at Parkers run while Rebecca is going into Labor. The scavenger(Victor) would treat you differently depending on if you gave him water in Episode 1. Instead of Mike and Bonnie leaving the group, it would be Roman, Arvo, Victor, and Ralph. This scene could go different ways. If you were nice to Arvo, he wont shoot you. Arvo in my version wouldn't shoot you, but Ralph would. When he does, he will get shot by: Victor if you gave him water in Episode 1, Arvo if you were nice to him, or Roman if you weren't. If you were mean to Arvo, he would walk over and spit on you after you got shot. For Nate: During the horde scene in Episode 4, instead of escaping with Rebecca and Jane, you are alone. It's a few hours later and it has begun to snow. You than see lights in the distance. It's a truck missing a headlight. It's Nate. He will pull up to you and similar to Russell, he'll say Bam! Your dead" if you don't hide. Regardless, he will give you a ride. Hr will come back later as someone who your not sure id on your sife or crazy. I'll update this later, I'm typing on my phone, hence a lot ig typos.

  • To bad 14 year olds can't work yet.

Thank you! My dream is to work at Telltale someday.

  • I'll actually post my entire summary shortly.

  • And what will to Bonnie? Also Raplh could take Mike´s place in Ep3. And i don´t see Victor surviving , with all the blood he lost and the walkets nearby.

  • Mike would still have the same role and Ralph would be a complete arse until the end.

  • One day my friend.
    One day.

To bad 14 year olds can't work yet.

  • I liked 400 days as 400 days it didnt need season 2 people in it

  • Game companies hire 14-year olds don't they? T.T they should make an exception with you because that's a really good idea. I'd of liked to have seen that go down.

  • The only reason why is because they were completely ignored in Season 2. If they played a decent part, that would be fine. They all only got 5 second cameos except for Bonnie.

  • Thank you all!
