What fictional Character in TWD?
There has most likely already been a thread like this but unfortunately if there was I never saw it.
So I'm going to make one.
My question is what fictional character (movies/games/television) would you believe would be able to survive the zombie apocalypse and why?
I'll share mine.
For me it would have to be U.S Deputy Marshal Raylan Givens from the FX series Justified.
For one he is a hard ass and doesn't necessarily follow the laws that his supposed to be obliged by. He is also an extremely quick drawer and fantastic aimer with a handgun (Which seems to be the common weapon of choice in TWD). He is stern and fearless, doesn't take shit from any criminal and may manipulate them to use to his advantage. (Meaning he is intelligent). He also looks like a badass, at first everyone rips off the hat but then everyone comes to fear it because they know that Raylan is coming just from the hats profile in the distance. He has also got the southern accent and we know that that's also a huge TWD trait for characters to have.
How does Raylan Givens fit in TWD universe?
Well he is a Marshal which means he is trained to cope in dangerous situations. Such as shootouts, fist and knife fights. And anyone who watches the show knows that Raylan has proven time and time again that he can get himself out of tough situations. Sometimes it is with the help of a team member but remember that he would be in a group.
Unlike Rick Grimes form TWD comics and tv show who seemed to be a pretty clean nosed cop before the ZA made him cold. Raylan is already pretty dirty and will hide things from the other Marshals, such as taking out the beating of criminal informants in his reports, etc. Which means the moment shit hits the fan, Raylan isn't exactly going to be out there making sure people are okay and dandy.
The main reason though is that most of the criminals, basically all through the south, know who Marshal Givens is and cringe at his name. Think about it, most of the bandits in TWD are most likely criminals pre-apocalypse, so if they're already scared of Raylan because they know he got skills, then the bandits aren't going to be as much of a threat. Possibly wanting to avoid dealing with Givens as much as possible.
In saying all this Raylan is actually a genuine dude and actually will go out of his way to protect people who he doesn't give two shits about, and it's not always because it's a job priority. He also has a soft spot for kids and will always put their safety first. Even continuously keeping tabs on them long after they are out of his legal obligation, even helping them if they contact him asking for his help.
TWD seems to have a theme of children and their safety which makes Raylan a perfect candidate.
So that's the fictional character I reckon would be able to kick ass in TWD universe.

Gordon Freeman. He has no problems killing zombies ( even stronger ones than in TWD like fast zombies ant etc). Also he has no problems killing humans ( HECU marines). I would say he would survive ZA easy.
I know Big Boss from MGS would kick everybody's ass no problem. He fought giant nuclear walking tanks, supernatural beings, and is considered to be the perfect soldier. And he has what it takes to be a leader, since he built up TWO armies.
Deahstroke. He is a trained mercenary with enhanced physical and mental capabilities. He is handy with all kinds of weaponry, and his brain works nine times faster than an average human. Plus, he always wears armor, so no risk of being bitten or scratched.
Deathstroke would be pretty amaze-balls

Reasons: Even in his old age, the guy can still kick-ass.
Sheppard- From the Mass Effect trilogy.
Bryan Mills: From the films, Taken, & Taken 2.
Reasons: He's exceptionally intelligent, he's tough, and he is an adept killer.

Wolverine.
Jack Sparrow, from Pirates Of The Caribbean.
Reasons: He's smart, resourceful, and a capable fighter.
MacGyver.
Reasons: He's smart, he's a good fighter, and he can make anything out of anything.
Rambo.
The reasons I pick him should be obvious.
The guy can survive pert-near anything.

The idea of Rambo just shredding through zombies makes me laugh
