Will there ever be an episode where...
It is split into two completely different ones depending on your choice in the previous episode? For example at the end of, lets call it episode 3, you would get a choice of taking two separate paths, then in episode 4 you would begin at the path you took, but you would end up in the same place at the beginning of episode 5 regardless of which path you took.
So it would be like 2 episodes coming out at the same time.
Do you think this would be cool?

Yes I do think it would be cool, and they may do that with the first episode of Season 3 with all of the different endings. There should be at least one episode dedicated to our certain ending, but at the end, we alll endd up at the same spot. That would be great, and each episode has its own set of choices that will haave an impact later on.
this is what i hope for every episode
I think that it would be a massive evolution for these types of games.
With the capabilities that the next gen consoles have, theres no excuse for thr lazy writing anymore
Yeah, but TellTale is lazy
QFT, look at the dialogue in S1 between Carley's character and Doug. They pretty much say the exact thing.
i had posted an idea similar to that. an idea for a possible DLC. Depending on the choice the player made at the end of season 2 would determine which storyline of the DLC the player experiences, but no matter what everyone would end up at the same place at the end. But I think it would be a great idea to try to do it that way because then they could really make our choices affect the outcome of the story
something like that could be the "new angle" the developers are referring to
Hope so.
the consoles have nothing to do with the writing....
idk this is telltale we are talking about here the only developer i have seen that has truly done something like this right was cd projekt red with the witcher 2 where your last choice in the first act literally changes the whole second act
The only way I'd see this working well is if the episode in question was a self-contained story, which would loop back into the main story the next episode. Like Starved For Help, but with the possibility of playing out two different ways.
That way they'd have a relatively blank slate to work off of
