Lee knows about zombies

In Season 1 Episode 1, Lee says that "Doug is not great around zombies".

  • Yeah I noticed that too, and there's an instance in the comics when someone also mentions the use of the word zombie.

  • I think I remember hearing the word 'zombie' a lot in the first few issues of the comics. .-.

  • Yeah it's definitely used a few times before Kirkman decided to just use the terms walkers, biters, lurkers, etc. and get rid of zombies altogether. I guess the game writers wanted to do that as well, similar to how every episode title is three words long like the title of every volume of the comics.

  • Lee confirmed Illuminati

  • Yes I do love that they stick to only 3 words for each episode in respect to the comics with their chapters. Well all besides 400 Days I guess. I can't wait to see the creative names for the roster of episodes for season 3. They use to talk about making the game black and white like the comics too but I'm grateful they didn't. I can't stand that the comics aren't in color, it would be so much more exciting to read and able to pick up on things quicker than black and white.

Also in episode 1 Lee says "The keys are on that zombie out on the street."

  • Well 400 Days is a DLC, not an ctual episode of the season. It would be cool to see the game in black and white, but I'm glad they went with color instead.

The common zombie fiction we all know and love don't exist in TWD universe, but the term "zombie" itself does. That's why its still used, albeit sparsely.

The idea and concept of a "zombie" exists in their world, just not in the same way it does ours.

  • Here's the definition, I've highlighted the main definitions that could exist in TWD universe.

It would exist and people would even use the word because of it's 1st meaning.

  • When they use the word zombie it seems like 4th wall is being ripped apart and renovated to me

  • That first one though.

    "by witchcraft"

    lmao

Or even better Night of the Living Dead 1968 it starred supposedly the first ever black hero in a cinema release, a groundbreaking production. Also the first depiction of zombies as we know them today. But I dont know if they actually get called zombies in it.

O there a film called zombie crawling flesh that has a scene where a zombie fights a zombie shark! And the actor is realy wrestling a real live shark! Its also a solid zombie flick.

Yeah, zombies in Night of the Living Dead were much different then we imagine them right know. They were scared of fire, they were taking a bit of you and eating it peacefully instead of ripping you apart.

Zombie are just not the same anymore :<
