When is Season 3 of the Walking dead game set to release i thought they said early this year
They said months back that season 3 was set to release in early 2015 and we still don't even have a trailer or anything.it shouldn't have taken this long to make season 3.Fans have waited long enough for the release of season 3 it shouldn't take this long.

They never said that, they said expect news in 2015, but never actually revealed the date of release. The gap between Seasons 1 and 2 was a total of 13 months, and since the season ended in August, we still have a few long good months before Season 3. My guess would be late 2015 or early 2016. In the meantime, I recommend playing Tales From the Borderlands, The Wolf Among Us, and Game of Thrones if you haven't played them yet, it will help pass the time.

As others have said,, Telltale never announced a release date and hasn't mentioned much about it. Expect the first episode to be released late this year or maybe early next year.

that sucks i don't want to wait a whole nother year for them to release season 3 that's stupid.Borderlands is terrible Game of thrones is fantastic tho.
TFTBL was actually really great, one of the best episodes I think Telltale has ever released. It was hilarious and had great characters, it was also over two hours long, which is a good sign considering the decrease in the length of the episodes in Season 2.
They probably don't know as of yet what direction they want to take with season 3 I'm guessing. So for it not to be an even bigger disappointment than season 2 they will need more time to think about how season 3 should go. They are not as swift as the writers and show-runners of the television series I'm afraid. In which the TV show cranks out seasons within 6 months at a time and episodes are weekly instead of bi-monthly. Would be perfect if they could release seasons that quick and dish out episodes at least a month at a time but I guess they got like 2 dudes working on each game at a time. If not it sure feels that way.

It took them more than a year to release season 2 when season 1 ended, I don't see why it should be any different for this one. Honestly, as much as I can't wait to play the game I would be very worried if they were to release it now. I can't even begin to imagine what a mess the game would be with such little effort put into it.
