I never really liked the show to be honest, I thought it was poorly writen in alot of places. The comic was fun to read through, but the plot felt way too stretched out to me.
In conclusion.....I like the game better than both of them. x)
I've not read the comics, but I'm certain the comics are much better. It doesn't have to be watered down to appeal to a mass audience and isn't restricted by the FCC. I love the show, but only because I love zombie movies and the show is a zombie movie that doesn't end, but the show is very poorly written at times.
The show is good for what it is but it strays away in places it shouldn't. I like how they brought Carol up to light and brought Merle and Daryl in but they completely wrecked the characters of The Governor and Andrea to unforgivable heights. Made the prison and Woodbury conflict look pathetic. The comic has its flaws like the plot armor with some characters especially the main ones

In my eyes, the show is the best branch of the franchise. But yeah, that is wholly opinion. The comics are great as well.
