Season 2...
Hey just finished playing season 2 and loved the story. But to me it just didn't seem as interactive as season 1 was. Season 2 felt to me more like I was watching a movie than playing a game. It seemed like a lot of button prompt choices but not much exploring the world. Season 1 seemed to have heaps more walking around, exploring and solving puzzles. What do u think?

I don't think Season 1 had a limit to how long each episode was but Season 2 had a limit of 90 minutes per episode, that means you have to say 'Goodbye' to hubs and 'Hello' to sitting back and relaxing while the game plays itself. But seriously Season 1 definitely had tons of hubs and puzzles while in Season 2 you were lucky if you got anything out of exploring what little area you had.
Yeah the lack of exploration was definitely noticeable in Season 2, and it would have been nice to have more hubs, but like Kateis said, Telltale unfortunately decided to put a limit on their episodes when Season 1 didn't seem to have that limit. As a result, the writers had to cram more into each episode, which leads to less exploring and more going along for the ride. In Harms Way, despite being one of my favorite episodes, almost completely lacks any sort of control over Clementine. You still had those moments, like in A House Divided and Amid the Ruins, but it was definitely less compared to Season 1. However, it seems that Telltale is going back to making longer episodes with the recent released of TFTBL and GOT, so if this continues and they decide to make TWD S3 episodes longer, expect more hubs and exploration.
I like both seasons of walking dead i Can't wait for season 3
I do as well and I can't wait for Season 3, but I just hope the writers add more hubs for Season 3.
I love both seasons.
TTYL has said that if/when the story allows for puzzles and exploration that will be available; they're not gonna add those just for the sake of puzzles and exploration.
S2 did feel more like an interactive movie. But I still enjoyed it
