Needs more of a Butterfly Effect
I know it would be difficult and make the game bigger, but it would be worth it. I think that for season 3, Telltale should look at expanding the butterfly effect on the choices that are made. Right now, no matter how good or hookie pookie you play. The endings are pretty much the same. OK I know there are like 5 endings for season 2 - but can't you program the game so that the ending characters can be anyone in the group? What if I wanted to have Sarah be my friend all the way to the end? I'm just saying...it would be fun to play thru 10 hours a second or third time if I chose to play totally psychotic or wimpy and have several hours of that diverge off the "classic" walk-thru. I'd pay extra for that!

Butterfly Effect?
"That was a great fuckin' movie." If anyone guesses the quote, you're cool. But back on topic. I would say our choices matter. Just not in the way we think it does. It changes how they write the story. For example, let's say Rebecca was going to be a character they thought the fans would love, but they don't. So that means they change her character up a bit for the next episode.
Or at least that's what I tell myself.
i agree. It may take longer to make, but I think they should really try and have it to where players can really mold Clem into the survivor they want....a hard ass sociopath or a benevolent hero or maybe some kind of combination of both
Exactly! You're so goddamn right!
and I think they should try to have it where player decisions can actually affect the outcome of the story---not just affect the relationships the player has with NPCs. Like...When Lilly shoots Carley...I was so shocked....I had to play it a few times to realize that no matter what you said you can't prevent Lilly shooting Carley. But you should be able to....if you sided with Lilly in the meat locker, that should allow you to talk her down during the interrogation of Carley/Doug and Ben
Or more like any effect ever.....
Things aren't that clear-cut in the Walking Dead universe. It isn't as simple as characters only dying if you are rude to them (or surviving if you are friends with them). A lot of the events in the Walking Dead universe are outside of the player's control; instead, you determine how your version of Lee/Clementine would respond instead.
