Was Mike Robbing Christa? *Spoilers*
Today I decided to re-play S2 and change some choices :P
However, at the scene when Christa gets robbed there is a person there that looks similar to Mike,
Now it could just be a coincidence, or just a look-alike.......
Here is the scene, look for the guy in the hood up :P

Mike was going to be in that role, but they decided he'd fit better as a boring plot device devoid of any real characterization, I guess.
Well it would be kind of weird for him to just join your group after what he did, which is why they probably cut it

Because then the writers would actually have something interesting to put their energies into.
But no, they'd rather re-tread literally every story beat in Kenny's arc.

I'd guess that some members of the group, most likely the ones who haven't met Christa (I.E. The Cabin Group) would give him a chance, especially since Mike is in Carver's "prison".
It was too dark to tell. Maybe it was Mike, maybe Ralph, maybe Kanye West.
No it's more likely because the writers, due to the decrease in the episode lengths and time contraints, couldn't find a way to somehow work it in. It would have been interesting, no doubt, but this is a result of decreased episode lengths, potential storylines unfortunately get dumped because they need to focus on the main story. What made Season 1 better was that the writers could make episodes as long as they needed to be, allowing them more freedom and ability to add elements to the episodes. When an entire hour is taken from an episode, then you can expect stuff like that to get cut from the story for it to fit. Decreased length of episodes = decrease in quality, it doesn't matter who is writing it.
Because they'd rather coast on Season 1's success and nostalgia factor rather than actually put in the effort THAT MADE SEASON 1 WELL-RECEIVED IN THE FIRST PLACE.
Mike was originally intended to be one of the bandits---the scar on his face was supposed to have been caused by the off screen gunshot we heard once the girls get separated...and that's why Mike's character model looks almost identical to Ralph's....I wish they had kept that storyline in there...it would've made Mike's betrayal more in sync with his character.
They say they changed Mike's arch b/c they wanted to make him more of a protector of the group...but they could've have done that as well as keeping him as one of the bandits....everything that he does to help them escape Howe's and while they're at Parker's Run could've have been b/c he wanted to prove himself to the group that he wasn't just some heartless bandit. They shouldn't have abandoned that storyline....they probably changed it b/c then they would have to come up with what happened to Christa and they want to leave her fate unknown
