So I was talking with my friend the other day who is a die hard Luke fan and still doesn't believe he is dead (Facepalm).

So we got into a wacky conversation about if Telltale didn't actually show him drown or get dragged down by a walker, and he just happened to get washed away in a current under the ice and you assume he is dead. Sorta like Season 1 did with Kenny.

So the conversation lead to Luke's leg getting gangrene due to infection and loss of blood circulation when in the water. So for reasons unknown it gets amputated and he ends up with a blade runner.

I thought that the idea of a ZA survivor in general having a blade runner was awesome. So I ended up drawing an alternate version of Luke where this scenario happens.

Btw, This is meant to be an older/ gruffer Luke due to being set after season 2. That is why he has full stubble and darker rogue-like clothing.

This is just a concept work of a different style for Nick.

He kinda looks like he crawled out of The Last Of Us universe, especially with the gas mask but oh well.
I added the gas mask because the Luke concept I did, he had goggles.
I made it so that these characters get wiser the longer they live in the apocalypse so become more resourceful. Which means when beating the crap out of zombies they would consider protection for their eyes/ mouth.
I've seen so many zombie movies, shows, games, etc, where characters beat the dead to a pulp and have their mouth open whilst doing it due to yelling or screaming and end up with blood all over their face but some miracle allows them to not get zombie smoothie in them.

So yeah... that's why I added the gas mask.
