Not to mention the fact that TTG devs had several occasions to announce they won't be continuing TWAU, but for some reason they didn't (most likely because they just want to focus on other projects as of now, but at the same time they don't want to deny a possible sequel in the future)

The game sold really well actually. Maybe not as well as Walking Dead, but certainly well.

  • Oh man... I was about to 'Like' that comment then I saw the second line :(

Do I want one? Hell fucking yes Will we get one? No

  • Alright who voted no? Telltale gonna see it be like "we should appeal to that guy!".

    jk

  • Isnt that a contradiction? Youve lost interest but you still want more? You still have interest, lol.

I voted HELL YES! cuz I feel that more is necessary... TWAU has been gone for so long that I've lost a lot of interest in it, but I would still like more, especially now that Fables is ending in July

  • I lost interest as in I don't wanna replay TWAU, but new TWAU would reignite that interest!

  • How could they possibly ruin the franchise?

I'd rather they not make a season 2 then ruin the whole franchise.

  • It's almost been a year since the last episode was released. Not even once has Telltale released any sales figures for TWAU.

  • Thread: Wolf Amoung us Season 2

when is the season 2 begin? when will its going to be on the IOS Ipad? I heard is was suppose to be in January. that month has already passed.

  • So just because they don't throw out sales figures means it didn't sell well? I highly doubt that

They don't usually release sales figures. Sam & Max was their biggest franchise in the beginning, and they never released sales figures. Then it was beaten by Tales of Monkey Island as their best selling franchise, and they never released sales figures. Then that was beaten by Back to the Future: The Game, and no sales figures were released. Then that was beaten by The Walking Dead, and then, in a rare move for Telltale, sales figures were released.

As you can see, releasing sales figures is actually really uncommon when it comes to Telltale, and is no means an indication that a game didn't sell well. They usually are pretty private about such things.

    I just made myself cry.

  • If they're gonna make a Season 2, then they will. All of these comments and threads I've seen demanding a Season 2 are getting annoying.

Well what else can we do? it will be a while until Fables 150 is released and we haven't heard anything from tell tale about TWAU even them saying they won't make another season would put minds at ease, not that many people would be happy with that answer. but we haven't heard anything from them.

until than people we keep making more comments and threads about S2 because people want telltale's attention we need an answer or at least some clarification, I'll use a quote from a game "Yell loud enough, and someone will eventually come over to see what all the fuss is about" i think its the silence, waiting and not knowing that's the hardest part and that's why i think people really want to know and because TWAU is a great game and people want more.

If they're gonna make a Season 2, then they will. All of these comments and threads I've seen demanding a Season 2 are getting annoying.

  • Probably because they're still thinking of ideas and characters for Season 2, probably working on a DLC for Season 1 and besides, you don't really expect them to just make a whole new Season the next year when they have 4 confirmed projects already, my bet is that The Wolf Among Us Season 2 will release next year alongside TellTaleGames' other project.

  • I thought so. you see the problem is that when they make a game. they made it like that there is another season coming. so here's a question for the telltale. how come there is no second season of wolf among us? the ending of the last episode 5 has made it clear that there will be a second season. the story will have to finish in order to make more clear and more sense to all of us fans to understand why faith faked her death. Play the game again and listen closely and carefully.. if there is no second season. then the ending of episode 5 does not make any sense what so ever. they have to continue the story. by creating a second season. if not. then tellgame has disappoint the fans.. this is my opinion. theres no right or wrong. im just spreading the word and tell everyone my opinion on this website.

Tbh though, unlike TWD, TWAU actually gave a teaser for the Fables comics at the end of Ep.5 saying 'Continue The Story'

I think the reason for this is because TWD has a multi-season contract, but TWAU (to my knowledge) only has a 1 season contract. So while TellTale did prepare the ending of Ep.5 for a continuation, they also threw in the teaser at the end for 2 reason:

    • 1 is so that we can literally continue the story by reading Fables, essentially an option for if a Season 2 doesn't happen

    • 2 is because the comic writer Bill Willingham told TellTale to put in the teaser, as Fables was coming to an end in a years time and he wanted more people reading it before it finished

  • Or you could just have patience and wait. All you're doing by spamming the same question over and over is being annoying. That's not going to get their attention. Nothing you do will get their attention about TWAU. They'll announce it once they've come to a decision on it.

  • I don't really gotta think of the answer to this, HELL YEAH I WANT A SEASON 2, I NEED MORE BIGBAE
