Poor Puzzlebox. Everyone celebrating the fact they don't get to go home while they sit there, at their work computer, crying because they never get to see their cactus anymore. And the cactus probably doesn't even know who they are anymore!
And they probably have a co-worker beside them, rubbing smoothing circles in their back, trying to calm them down. "It will be okay. Final push. Just get the trailer ready for release and then you can go home- Pet the cactus, feed with ficus, and maybe even catch up on some sleep. It's okay. We can do this." The co-worker whispers as they pull on their coat to go home. "It will be fine. I'll be here with you- in spirit."
And Puzzlebox just has to sit there watching them leave knowing they don't even have any plants at home...
