Lilly has so much potential
You know I hope Telltale doesn't screw this up but Lilly has the perfect potential as a tragic hero. I think she could be great. I think her killing Carly/Doug could really make her different. I don't think at heart she was a bad person. I think in a single moment she snapped. I think she was a good person who just snapped from the pressure. As a good person this would constantly weigh on her. With the time that has passed this could have changed her in many ways. She could really be a great figure. I hope she isn't thrown away like so many others.

I would be ok if Lilly came back as LIlly's story, without Clementine.
I wish Lilly had returned in season 2 instead of Kenny, would've been so much cooler.
Lilly was an okay character to me, and if you saved Carly, it was kind of Carly's fault since she was kind of pushing Lilly. But yeah, Lilly did lose her temper.
It would be great if they brought Lilly back. I didn't like how she just left in Ep. 3, though I understand the writers thought it was Lilly Caul from the comics (Kirkman said it wasn't, but it was too late). I'd like to follow just her story though. I'm kind of tired of Clem's story as most of what I loved about her is gone.
I don't think Carley's murder would weigh on her at all, unless she found out that Carley was innocent. She may have snapped, but Lilly didn't show any remorse for shooting Carley, but following her story after she left the group could be interesting
I like the message of this thread, since a majority of my discussions have been about Lilly. Kennyftw, I agree 100% that Lilly has the potential of a tragic hero. Even though, I thought if she would return, I pictured her as broken, but still surviving. The tragic hero idea brings more ideas to light. Telltale should make that concept a reality and I want Clementine and her friends to be the ones to bring Lilly back from the brink.
...and realistic. I think Lilly had a great potential.
I'd love for Lilly to come back. I still think there's more they could do with her for the reasons you've said.
Gee, thanks.
I appreciate that.
Yep. She should have come back in season 2 imo.
We have already the "lucky" encounter of Kenny, do we really need another "lucky" encounter?
Lily will come back, being lucky, real luck, and have her hair 2 times longer than last time
LILLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY LOLAAAAAAAAAAAALOYA
I think he meant Lilly should've come back instead of Kenny... probably.
I'd love to see Lilly return, and I hope we're granted the opportunity to give her a hug, because I have missed her. I don't think she's a bad person at heart either, I believe she was trying to get to the bottom of who was giving the bandits supplies, on top of grieving over Larry. Sometimes people snap, and I think this was that moment for Lilly. If she came back, I think she'd be exceptionally protective over Clementine, and it would fill her with some form of hope. She can be redeemed for what she did, and I hope she gets that redemption shot in Season 3.
Amen, to that.
I SO desperately want that as one of the plots for Season 3.
Honestly? Well... I don't know how to answer to that. I mean, the only old character that I'd like to come back is Christa because we don't actually know if she's dead. Also if I'm not mistaken I heard once or twice that Lilly isn't coming back either way. I could be wrong but that's what I heard... I think it was either before Season 2 release or at the beginning of it.
Me too, man, me too.
Still, it doesn't hurt to hope.
No, it doesn't. Of course not. Though like I said, the only old character I'd like to come back is Christa. Other than that... well, I hope Telltale will introduce us to a bunch of new characters. The ones who don't die at the end of season.
I also wish to see Christa return as well.
Also, again, I agree with a bunch of new characters who won't die at the end of the season.
Clementine needs to form a group of good, strong people, and establish a settlement to make a living.
FYI my ending for Season 2 is I'm with Jane and let the wayward family into Howe's.
The fortified hardware store is a excellent foundation to establish a safe haven.
