Why the boat plan wouldn't work?

Ok excuse me if its my own ignorance about boats (I'm from new york city, born and raised), but how the hell were kenny/lee going to get the boat out of the shed/garage (whatever have you) then get it into the water? They didn't have a vehicle to hitch it to, and I would assume pushing it would take quite some time and would cause a ton of noise, and there were PLENTY walkers in Savannah. Someone help me?

  • I assume they were going to push or something like that. Plus I think Lee and Kenny thought that Vernon and his group were gonna help.

  • Yeah I am kind of confused with you too. . . also would they just set out and live on the water or what?? Like wouldn't they have to load up on food and water?

  • Get hold of a truck or pickup and load the boat on there. I'm sure there's plenty unattended. Vernon&Co did get the boat out, didn't they? So there's ways.

Once they were at sea, well...there's a nice big archipelago not too far south, hopefully not hit so hard by the walkers. I'm guessing that would have been their first destination. Loading water would've been necessary, food, not so much...Kenny is a fisherman, they would've managed for a while.

  • A vehicle with a hitch would be the easiest way obviously, but a boat on a trailer when lifted on it's wheel's can be turned and pushed by just one person fairly easily.. I've done it many times with a smaller Bass boat, but having Kenny and Lee, possibly Omid and Christa or even Ben, they could move the boat without any problem.. The real issue would have been Walker control..

  • good point about vernon. touche.
