Nope. Nope. Keep them separate. Keep the game in the comic book Universe and leave the TV show in it's Universe based on the comics but completely separate.

You do realize that Tara is from the Novels, something that isn't to popular, right? So, it's been proven that characters from different medias can come to the show. Why can't a Game of the Year Character come on the show?

And even if they don't do a crossover, I'm 100 percent that they will have either a Clementine special, a three page comic; Or they'll have a independent tv episode telling only of clem's story to a TV audience

There is never going to be a chance in hell Clementine would appear in the TV series. The game is canon to the comics.

  • The TV show is kind of a different environment from the comics and video game. To me the TV and comic counterparts of characters such as Rick or Glenn are very very different. I couldn't see any Clementine on the live screen as the same girl in the Telltale series.

The comics though, are a different story. I would actually be fine with seeing Clementine as a central character in the comics, because I believe the universes fit together well, especially if TWD Season 3 were to be a definitive end to TTG's Walking Dead series! But of course that's just me!

  • Yeah I honestly do not see the big deal of it.. If the characters happen to somehow at somepoint be within close proximity to each other around the same time. It's not as though Clementine or Lee and company where set far off during the apocalypse like in Vegas or Denver in comparison to Rick and Company. They both began in the state of Georgia and quite close to Atlanta.

Maybe I can see Kirkman not wanting to include game characters or tv exclusive characters in his comic since he likely has no plan on how to incorporate them and hadn't planned on including them and might write himself into a catch 22 corner which is what he most likely fears. Even though it would be a interesting touch to atleast see a cameo of some of the game crew in the comic at one point or TV originals like Daryl and Merle mixed in the comic in the near future somehow. No crossover has to ruin any character if it can executed masterfully I believe.

  • Is that seriously your best argument? Tara and Lily were nods to the novel and the Governor's backstory, the show just included it differently. There is literally zero reason Clementine would ever be in the show and it wouldn't make sense. They have their own characters to work with and adding in Clementine would derail the material that's already laid out. Lee and Clem are never going to be in the show, deal with it and move on already.

Also, you're replying to a comment that's almost a year old.

  • No I don't want the show tainting Clem

  • i would love to see Clementine, Kenny, Molly, Jane, Christa or any of the other abandon characters in the game make it to the show. even if they have small roles. i think Kenny and Christa would be valuable additions to ricks group. in addition i would love to see Mike, Bonnie and Arvo as anagonists.

Glenn or maybe even maggie could recognize Clem. Perhaps Maggie met her off camera at breakfast or something. or her father could have mentioned her name and she saw her from a window. maybe she blames Lee for Shawns death and remembers Clem.

she and Carl would make a first round draft pick zombie slayer if they were to marry in the future. there offspring would be like Tallahassee from zombieland.

Molly was one of my all time favorites and i would love to see her again in any for of media
