How would you feel about a remaster?

Once Season 3 is out and all episodes have been released. How would you feel if Telltale remastered the previous two seasons of The Walking Dead to fit the latest look of the series? Including fixes for graphical glitches, game bugs and the stuttering and lag. Do you think this would be a good idea? Or would you rather they left them alone just the way they are?

  • paying full price for bug fixes? yea nah fuck that

  • Full price, nah, but if they came out with another version of the game with next gen graphics, I would pay for that. It would be fuckin sweet.

  • stuttering and lag

Only stuttering and lag i ever had was when i played on Console. If you switch to PC, the game plays flawlessly, assumingly you have a gaming PC.

All that should really be fixed for free. Like most developers do.

I don't think enough time has passed to warrant a remaster. Generally games are remastered either because the original doesn't work well on modern machines or because the graphics were very dated. Give it another ten or twenty years. Right now, the graphical improvements between the first Walking Dead season and Game of Thrones aren't big enough to warrant going back and changing TWD.

  • Here is the thing, i can't say for the xbox 360 but i know the problem wasn't with TWDG, it was with the PS3 hardware. Lets be honest here, that hardware was around since 2007. Its old.

  • The problem was with Telltale's engine. Other much more complex games run fine on the 360 and the PS3. GTA V, for one. If Telltale's engine requires that much power, they simply shouldn't be releasing games for the PS3/Xbox 360. Not that the engine should require that much power. I've run TWD fine on laptops that weren't as powerful as the 360. Tellalte just doesn't care enough to optimize for older consoles.

  • They just remastered it for the Xbox One and PS4, which should be more fixed than the previous generation.

I just want a remaster of JP, BTTF, and maybe S & M.

  • That might be true, i never had any issues with any TTG on my Gaming PC.

    it wont happen though

  • No it wouldnt.

  • Will it fix that stupid big ass glitch at the frozen lake? You know, the one where it had this dumb texture issue and Luke fell in?

    It would...?

    Okay =D I'm sold then.

  • Well the game is SUPPOSE to look like the comics.

Why not. It would be so pretty.

    No it wouldnt.

  • Well yeah. I didn't say they were bad. I really like the graphics. I'm just saying if there was a second version with next gen graphics I would buy it.

  • I wouldnt. It would be a bit of a waste of money. But anyway I cant see it being a full game with just changed graphics. It would fit more as a optional dlc

  • Yeah. At the very least just some fan art thing

They could make S2 into a dream sequence at the start, and start fresh at the river, so everything really didn't happen. Only way i can think of bringing Clem's character back with it making sense, with the five endings.

  • How about they remaster just the whole of Season 2? By remaster, I mean fix the goddamn plot holes. (Luke fell in one, goddamn it)

  • And add Nate and give the 400 Days characters more than 10 second cameos.

  • Could have made Arvo, Eddie.

It make the medicine hiding be far more understandable, instead we get Arvo stuffing it for no apparent reason.

  • I would like it if it tracks what episodes you've bought already and they are free on the remastered edition.

and it all defeats the purpose of...

    REALISM!
