I like the production on this and for sure Kendrick's verse was solid.
Man, I feel like we need to start and self-sustain our own rap thread page cause I feel like there's so much to explore. I've heard of this guy too but again, just like with Ab-Soul, never formally gotten into his discography.

This is hedonistic party rap done right. Thumping beat, rapid-fire flow, etc.
Of course, the monster Kendrick verse doesn't hurt...
Oxymoron would be a good place to start if you're interested. There's a few stinkers, but I was largely impressed. Q is definitely the most stereotypically 'gangsta' of the Black Hippy crew but his music definitely bumps.
Good thread idea btw. I made one last year but it eventually dried out, unfortunately.

Every time I listen to this, I visualize myself wearing a trench coat and a pair of shades, being all smart and deep and solving mysteries and other puzzle-y shiz.
The album that put Discharge back on the map after their couple other stinkers prior sorta ruined the hard thrash-punk image they've held since 89'. But this hard as held track is the very spirit of the "Never Again" era.

Beautifully insane song on a charmingly twisted album... Love Mike Patton and anything he's involved with.
