It is true we should forgive him because had it been another kid and a member of the team we liked shot another kid that we didn't have a connection to we may have felt differently just like Clemenem said. However to make matters worse, Arvo doesn't shoot until Clem either drops the gun (Which could from his viewpoint look like she was trying something). Yet Christa shoots purely out of sorrow for Omid. So in a way Christa's actions were worse than Arvo's and yet most people didn't think much about that incident.
