I forgot. Do any of The Walking Dead series' show events that lead to the apocalypse? Because I don't think any corpses reanimated prior to that, and I'm beginning to smell a conspiracy.

The show talks about it being a disease, similar to meningitis, and describes how it kills the person and causes them to come back as a walker, and the new T.V. show set for this summer will take place in the beginning of the outbreak, but other than that, no.
