The strangest thing and some advice
Hello. Something strange has occurred to my Walking Dead game and I was wondering if anyone could discern it. Okay it started years ago with a storage device lost error with season 1. It kept happening to me and after that I tried playing the game on another xbox live profile and sure enough the error vanished. A few months ago, I bought a new x box because my old one was getting old and the disc drive was having trouble opening up. However, after I installed it I noticed something off about Walking Dead season 1. It was gone from the "My Games" list. so I redownloaded it and sure enough it showed up, but it acted like I never downloaded the episodes. In fact it still says I haven't bought them. Then I noticed Season 2 was acting strange, when I go to it it says "Unlock episode 1" I tried that and it says it couldn't because the servers were down. My original profile is having problems as well. The episodes simply say install instead of installed and every time I try to install them it takes me back to the main screen.
This is really annoying me and I'm wondering how switching to a new X box hard rive could have done this? But I did come up with a plan. And I was wondering if it could perhaps work? My plan was to delete all traces of the Walking Dead from my hard drive and buy the console versions of the game. That way I will be starting fresh and I was wondering if perhaps anyone thinks that plan will work? Does the console versions have the games pre downloaded or do I have to download them again?
Thanks to anyone who can help me with this. This is one of my favorite game series and I want to be able to play Season 3 when it comes out.
