This definitely clinches the idea that Adventure Games are alive and well....and WANTED....so maybe Grim Fandango next? I will not say that unmentionable thing again about release date. One minute until showtime - and by showtime I mean regular office hours.

It's pretty sad I want to plan my whole day off around getting to play this game. If they would only just tell me a time when it will be available for download I would feel more comfortable running my errands sighhhh. And I'm sure I'll be equally upset when i finish the game in 1 or 2 days and eagerly anticipate the next episode.

You never know. I didn't think MI would be resurrected either. One person cannot hold that much power - unless it's in D.C. Har.

What other games would you guys be interested in seeing? I mean I know I've always been a big fan of adventure games. My family had them all I think:

Loom, Monkey Island, Kings Quest, Space Quest, Hero's Quest, Police Quest, Full Throttle, Grim Fandango, Day of the Tentacle, Original Sam & Max, Maniac Mansion, even dare I say Leisure Suit Larry.

I think it was the blatant sarcastic humor they instilled in many of their games. I wished they'd remake them all so I could just play them all over again on a normal windowsXP system without having to deal with trying to play them via emulators/DosBOX etc.

Quite likely. Let's hope they have a good servercluster ready for the stress of the first day.

But it's not 1000people, it's many many many more. Not many people actually (like to) use forums. Nevermind registring, picking a name and reading stuff.

This is not a series that's so popular among kids(who do go on forums much) like for instance... Halo.

the only thing that can save the servers from overheating is that australia and japan give up and go to bed and wait till morning :D
