  • TWAU puzzles? You mean opening the glamour tube with the white deer on it? That is a lame excuse for a puzzle imo...

TWD didn't really have puzzles either :/

  • Season 1 had a couple, like the train (even though it sucked and did a lot of damage to an otherwise great episode).

None were hard. Also, you would think TWAU would've had more (challenging or time-consuming) puzzles - since Bigby IS meant to be a detective after all. But nope, they didn't even give us that in the game, which was disappointing in some regards.

  • I think it's hard for Telltale to come up with puzzles these days because of their focus on the narrative. I love me an old school adventure game puzzle, but they sure do disrupt the flow of a story. TWAU had a couple of investigation sections where you could come up with a hypothesis, and still proceed even if you were totally wrong. Like investigating Toad's apartment, or investigating the motel room with Beauty. It's a decent compromise. I just wish there were more of them, and that they were somewhat more challenging. The wrong options in the motel room, especially, were so blatantly off-base that I can't see anyone picking them in a serious playthrough.

  • Yeah, I skipped to episode 4 when i met Omid and Christa part because the train level, I dunno what I suppose to be doing!

  • I would've accepted that as an excuse if they didn't rush through the season so quickly - which they have.

Plus there's the numerous scenes and dialogue they cut from the game, too.

  • Both are very easy in comparison to their earlier games.

  • The Walking Dead. I don't even think TWAU had any puzzles. But to be fair them puzzles are really, really easy. If you want adventure game puzzles that are actually quite challenging you should play some of Telltale's stuff from 2010 and back.

  • And if you want logic Puzzles. The Puzzle Agent games are great!
