A miniseries about Clem's Parents

edited June 2015 in The Walking Dead

Just imagine how amazing it would be if Telltale made a miniseries about Clem's parents! How they died in Savannah, their relationship etc.
I think it would be an extremely emotional series and I would definitely play it!

Just imagine being there while they record their final message to Clementine.

What do you guys think?

  • I would love that but I think their story would fit in 1 episode so it wouldn't really be a mini-series... But the idea sounds awesome~

It would break my heart playing that. Although you know with that phonecall I think Clem's dad was already dead by then since the first recorded message implied he was bitten, so the mom might've been on her own or might've have been bitten herself when she made the final call ;_; still a sad thought that she died never knowing if Clementine was still alive.

Another DLC idea we'll never seeeee [weeps]

  • They were at the Marsh House so where would they be and die at the same place in the end?

  • They stayed at the Marsh House but they weren't in the Marsh House the whole time. We don't even know if they died in the Marsh House or where.

  • Didn't they die essentially on day 1? Probably not the best game to play, but a nice short audio story could do.

I mean, it would be nice to know more about them and what happened in Savannah, but I don't want a mini series dedicated to it. And we know that Ed was one of the first victims so their journey wouldn't last very long anyway

  • that would be the saddest series ever.

The saddest DLC idea ever :(

  • What's the point? Season 1 already told us everything there is to tell about them. They were among the first victims of the zombie outbreak.

But then we can finally see how the zombie outbreak started and how her parents tried to survive it. I don't know about you, but I'd love to see how it all happened

  • There's not enough material in their story for a fleshed out single episode let alone to entire miniseries. I prefer miniseries which tell an actual story with character development and meaningful choices, I fail to see how a story about the death of Clem's parents would offer that. Besides we have already seen the early stages of the zombie outbreak in "A New Day" and "400 Days".

  • A miniseries about what happened to Kenny when he got lost to the herd, Lee's past and Clem & her Babysitter.

  • I'd rather play a miniseries about Clem's hamster.

  • True.

That Kenny miniseries could work, because I want to find out exactly how he was lucky. A story of a broken man who finds new hope when he meets Sarita. Lee's past wouldn't work, because it wouldn't be The Walking Dead without the walkers. And Clem's babysitter's story has the same problem as the story of her parents. She got killed very early and there's no room for meaningful story.

  • I'd rather play as Lee's beta-fish - now THAT'S a story that hasn't already been played out.
