Carver vs Pete confrontation
I think Pete's death could have been done better and could have contributed much more to the plot than it did. I think they should have scrapped the bite and have him lead the group to the lodge. When Nick shoots Matthew Pete scolds him and tries to console him through out the way there. When Carver arrives at the cabin, Clementine, Nick and Clementine are surrounded by Carver and company. Nick points his gun at them but Pete convinces him to lower it. Pete challenges Carver to a one on one fight while Carver's men hold Clem and Nick at gunpoint assuring they don't interfere. The fight looks even until Pete behinds getting the upper hand and knocks Carver to the ground. Seemingly knocking Carver unconscious, Pete catches his breath and lowers his guard. Carver then jumps up with a switchblade and stabs him twice in the stomach and once in the chest while whispering "I told you nice guys finish last". He kicks him in the knee, bringing Pete to one leg while about to stab him in the neck. Nick pleads with Carver not to kill Pete. Carver scowls and throws him on the ground. Pete shares a few last words with Nick and Clementine while telling them to watch out for one another.

Well that certainly was a lot more colorful. I think the way Pete's death progresses in the game is fine, but I just wish they had made more of a bigger deal about it, especially if you save Pete and find his body later.
Seems a bit silly to me "Yo Carver you and me one on one!" I do agree Pete should've been used more though.
